Rules and appearance

The big oak door slammed shut as Lily left the room, leaving Nina behind with James. He circled her like a predator, savoring her naked body as he laid out the new rules she would have to follow.

"You will now be subject to special rules regarding your grades as well as your behavior and appearance for the foreseeable future. First, if you fail any of your upcoming tests, you will come to me after class and deal with your misconduct. Maggie shook her head, her eyes scanning the empty chairs against the wall.

"No, Mr. Vilet," she said, her voice polite and professional. "You're all caught up for the day. Do you need anything else before you leave?"

James shook his head, a small smile spreading across his face.

"No, thank you, Maggie," he said. "I'll see you tomorrow. Have a good night."

Maggie nodded, her eyes following him as he walked out into the hallway. She knew better than to ask questions – she was just a secretary, and she knew that she was expected to do as she was told.

On the way to the showers, James met only a few students, as most of them had already left for the day. Those who were still around were either in extra classes or working on projects, and they quickly moved out of his way as he walked down the hallway.

Just outside the main sports halls, James met the school's head of security, Tafa, a tall, massive islander who had started out as a janitor and slowly worked his way up.

James and Tafa had developed a close friendship over the years, and Tafa's greeting was accordingly rough.

"James, you old son of a bitch, I thought you'd be home by now, leaving work as usual," he laughed, his deep voice rumbling through the hallway.

James couldn't help but laugh – Tafa was one of the few people who could get away with talking to him like that.

"I didn't know that criminals like you were allowed to roam free after 16:00," James laughed back, his eyes gleaming with amusement.

Tafa just shook his head, a small smile spreading across his face.

"Only the best criminals get to roam free, James. And I'm the best of the best. Now, what can I do for you? Do you need an escort to the showers?"

James couldn't help but laugh – Tafa was always joking around, but he was also one of the most capable and dedicated people James had ever met.

"No, thank you, Tafa, I rather need an "escort" in the shower but otherwise all good my best" he said, patting him on the shoulder. "I can make it to the showers on my own. But I'll keep your offer in mind – you never know when I might need your help."

Tafa just shook his head, a small smile spreading across his face.

"Anytime, James," he said. "Anytime. Just give me a call, and I'll be there in a flash."

The cool water of the shower was a real relief after the long day James had had – apart from his visit from the ladies, he had spent the whole day dealing with investors, architects, and electricians, and it was actually time for him to call it a day.

But just as he was starting to relax, a clatter sound shook him out of his newfound peace.

James quickly turned off the water and grabbed a towel, wrapping it around his waist as he walked out into the locker room. He quickly scanned the area, his eyes narrowing as he saw a group of students huddled together in the corner.

"What's going on here?" he demanded, his voice cold and authoritative.
