Rukia starts laying some ground work with Lisa!

Once Hatchi set up a barrier, and had some restraints on Ichigo with his Kido, Ichigo's soul body proceeded to start Hollowfying, and started to strain against the seals. "I can't hold him for long!" Hatchi warned.

"Sheesh, he's tough then," Shinji grunted. "Lisa, you're up first, make sure he doesn't leave the barrier," he instructed.

Lisa nodded, adjusting her glasses, and stepped into the opening Hatchi made in the barrier, just as the Hollow broke the restraints put directly on him. "What's this all for?" Rukia asked.

"Well, obviously we can't go letting him rampage, so we keep him contained in the barrier," Hiyori explained. "Of course, Inner Hollows are powerful and destructive, so the barrier alone's not enough. We have to keep him from actively trying to destroy it. Letting him break out and escape is just asking for trouble. So we go in, keep him occupied, in ten minutes shifts each."

"...sounds dangerous," Rukia said, watching through the barrier as Lisa used battled against the Hollow.

"No shit it's dangerous!" Hiyori snorted. "We're talking about Inner Hollows here, not playground fights!"

Rukia decided to watch for now. When Lisa's time was up, she exited, and Kensei walked in next to fight Ichigo. Rukia then smiled and walked up to Lisa. She was still a Sex Genie now, after all, so she was very interested in connecting with the attractive woman to bring her into the harem. "So... Mind if I take a look at that manga?" she asked Lisa, who blinked and looked at her.

"...okay, sure. You got any yourself?" she asked, handing over a volume.

"At home," Rukia fibbed, making a mental note to ask for Ichigo to wish she had some that Lisa didn't have. "Perhaps I'll get a chance to show you a few of the graphic novels I got."

"I'll hold you to that," Lisa smirked. "I think this may be the start of a beautiful friendship..."

"Oh trust me, it is," Rukia mentally replied as she flipped through the pages, though neither she nor Lisa took their attention fully off the battle at hand. "So... How long does this normally take?" Rukia asked in concern for her Master.

"About an hour," Lisa replied. "Give or take." Rukia nodded, hoping that Shinji was right, and that rushing this process would work out.
