Ruby, Looking Like... Ruby

I turned around, expecting to see yet another clone of myself. Only to be greeted to the sight of Ruby, with her usual black hair and sharper features. She was standing naked in the doorway, apart from the towel she was drying her hair with, dangling slightly over one shoulder

''Bullshit'' The word escaped my lips almost before I even realised what I had said. I almost felt guilty about it, before remembering last night.

''Sorry? What? Someone wake up on the wrong side of the floor this morning?'' She cocked an eyebrow clearly feigning any offence as a smirk crept across her lips.

Seeing her being so brazen about it, stirred my mild annoyance into anger ''No. I told you we need to be careful and figure out exactly what's happening here. Not go around playing god and making people do whatever you want''

Her amused expression had dropped into a flat and serious one, reflecting a bit of my anger back at me. She looked across at Kristen, the look in her eyes softening a bit before she spoke ''Did I make you do anyhting?''

Kristens expression was a bit panicked. She looked to Ruby, quickly glancing my way before squeaking out a brief ''No''. Before curling her knees up in front of herself, clearly wanting not to get involved in this argument.

''I know for a fact you messed with me last night. Without asking''

''All I did was give you a little push to actually do something without making a comprehensive plan first. I've seen you freeze up on an opportunity before, Lola'' Ruby walked over to her table and picked up her phone waving it about for emphasis ''God. Like. Power'' She threw the phone down on the bed before tunring and letting herself fall onto the bed as well.

''Too much power. Ruby we're in way over our heads'' I had stood up now, and was looking down at her on the bed.

She shook her head and stood up ''We can talk about this later. You need to get showered and dressed, we have to meet up to go over a new show routine in a few hours, we've got special shows starting tonight''

''A new routine? With a day to practice? Managments gone crazy, there's no way...''

Ruby cut me off ''Better believe it. Now go get ready, or we'll be late''

Kristen raised her hand, as if requesting permission to speak ''Uh, guys. I need to work this morning too. I can't really go looking like... well'' She gestured down at her body. Or rather, the duplicate of my body

''You're right. How silly of Ruby not to have considered that. It's almost like she didn't stop to think things through and make a plan'' The annoyance was still clear in my voice as I spoke

''Lola, seriously, stop it. Can you go and get ready. I'll help Kristen clean up in my apartment, and then, we can argue about wether having fun is immoral after the show tonight''

''Fine'' I said, standing up and storming off towards the bathroom

''Fine. I just hope you've calmed down by then. C'mon Kristen, let's go'' I saw Ruby wrap the towel around herself and then almost drag Kristen out into the main hall, even though she was still naked.

Still naked and wearing my body.
