Ruby's Readjustment

It's taken a bit of time but the missing persons case on Ruby was forgotten and now she was able to go around without issues.

She could also go back to school where her friends Minami and Kana, missed her,

Ruby was happy to be back, although... She missed her room back at the mansion.

Ethan and Ai would go home and come back the next day, she wanted to come with but she also wanted to spend time with her brother and Miyako.

Right now, Aqua was thinking on how to get Kana into the new idol group.

"I have a few suggestions." Ethan commented as the group were in the office of Strawberry Productions, Ethan was drinking a smoothie.

"What's that?" Aqua asked as he looked up from his phone.

"Just ask her outright." Ethan shrugged. "If you ask her, maybe a bit of pestering, she'll probably say yes."

"Why me?" Aqua frowned.

"... Is he that dense?" Ai asked Miyako who sighed softly.

"I can't believe that she has a crush on Aqua.... Are you looking at Minami's pictures?!" Ruby glared at Ethan who was on the laptop, indeed looking at the pictures.

"What?" Ethan looked confused. "She's very pretty."

"... Pervert..." Ruby uttered.

"Not denying it." Ethan smirked as he looked at Aqua. "Trust me, she'll say yes if you ask and sprinkle a compliment or two."

"... Fine." Aqua sighed and got up, he left the office with the goal in mind.

"... I need to keep an eye on him, his mental state worries me." Ethan sighed as well and closed the laptop.

Miyako stared at Ethan, the younger man was close with Ai and when she asked what their relationship was, this was her response.

"Me and Ethan are completely open! Well I just want him but I know he has other girls! So you can join in!"

That woman was head over heels for Ethan and she could only imagine the harem he has...

His flirting was also getting her flustered...

Ethan got up and took off his jacket and shook it a bit before putting it back on.

... Okay that was in purpose! She could see his muscular body with how tight that shirt was!

Ai leered with a lustful smile and Ruby couldn't help but stare....wait SHE WAS IN ON IT TOO!

Miyako was about to say something but Ethan left with a quick farewell.

".... Miyako, you know you can just jump him, he won't mind, neither will I." Ai grinned.

"Shut up!" Miyako shouted.

"She's right, he won't mind and you need to get laid." Ruby commented.

"Who's side are you on!?"

Ethan was following Aqua discreetly, just to see how things went.

If he was honest, Aqua was a loose canon and would explode if something happened...

Hopefully with Ai, things will go smoothly.

Feeling thirsty, he wandered away from Aqua and found a Starbucks close by.

He ordered a frappechino for himself, giving his name and even thinking on what pastry to get.

"Hey hey, what's a cutie like you doing alone?" Ethan turned and saw a pink haired girl getting harassed by a couple of guys.

Minami Kotobuki, Ruby's classmate.

Ethan has to admit... He was an absolute sucker for pink hair and red heads...

Looked like she was getting uncomfortable.

"Hey babe sorry I made you wait, took them a while to get my order right." Ethan walked right up to them, the men who were harassing her looked at Ethan with disdain.

"O-oh it's alright." Minami instantly understood Ethan's ploy.

"Hey we were talking." One of the men butt in but Ethan's dark stare made them flinch.

"I suggest you leave before I do something unsavoury." Ethan sat next to Minami and wrapped an arm around her, the girl blushed at the close proximity.

The men glared but backed off.

Once they were gone, Ethan pulled away. "Sorry for that." Ethan apologized with a an apologetic smile.

"No no! It's okay, they were persistent." Minami assured him. "Thank you."

"You're welcome, couldn't let a pretty girl get harassed could I?" Ethan got up.

"Wait, you can stay." Minami reached out and grabbed his hand.

"Hmm so I'm just a perv repellent?" Ethan smirked teasingly.

Minami couldn't help but giggle. "Maybe." She sang.

Ethan sat down. "Kenway, Ethan." Ethan introduced himself.

"Oh I'm Kotobuki Minami." Minami responded. "You're a foreigner."

"That obvious?" Ethan chuckled. "I suppose my name gave it away."

"It did Kenway." She smiled.

"Call me Ethan." Ethan responded.

A day later, Ruby was walking out of school with Minami by her side.

One thing she didn't miss was classes... And worse off, she had school work backed up...

"Don't worry, if you need help just ask." Minami patted her shoulder.

"Thanks..." Ruby slumped, she looked up and saw Ethan waiting by the gate.

"Ethan? What are you doing here?" Ruby asked confused, Minami's eyes widened.

"Oh I'm here to pick you and Aqua up, your mom's idea." Ethan grinned.

"Don't you have work to do?" Ruby raised an eyebrow.

"SC has that handled." Ethan smirked, Ruby couldn't help but feel jealous that he could clone himself.

"Ethan, you know Ruby?" Minami asked.

"Hmm oh hi, yeah, her mother and I know each other." Ethan smiled.

"Oh... WAIT HE WAS THE ONE WHO HELPED YOU?!" Ruby exclaimed.

Minami blushed but nodded.

Ruby glared at Ethan who simply smiled back at her.

He was lucky she liked him...

Ethan spotted Aqua talking to Kana Arima as they walked to the gate.

Aqua noticed Ethan and frowned. "What are you doing here?"

"Picking you up of course." Ethan smirked.

"We can walk home ourselves." Aqua narrowed his eyes.

"Awe don't be like that Kiddo!" Ethan ruffled Aqua's hair making the blond boy slap Ethan's hand away.

"Umm who is this?" Kana asked looking at Ethan skeptically.

"Kenway, Ethan, nice to meet you Arima, Kana." Ethan introduced himself.

"Ehh how do you know my name?" She asked suspiciously.

"I'm working in Strawberry Productions." Ethan informed her. "I'm also a friend of Aqua and Ruby's mom."

"Right.... friend." Aqua's eye twitched.

"Don't be like that." Ethan laughed. "You should lighten up."

Ruby huffed and grabbed Ethan's jacket and pulled him away. "Let's go, bye Minami!" Minami waved a bit disappointed she couldn't get to talk to Ethan more.

Aqua and Kana followed Ruby and Ethan. "So... Who is he?" Kana asked.

"... Mom's boyfriend..." Aqua sighed,

Kana's jaw dropped. "But... He looks our age!"

Aqua nodded slowly.

"... How were you able to get all this equipment..." Miyako asked as she looked at all the equipment Ethan brought in.

Ruby and Kana were gawking at the stuff, Aqua looked at Ethan who smiled.

Ai was currently back home, much to the brother and sisters disappointment.

"No need to worry about expenses, I'll pay, I've even gotten some sponsors if you don't feel like it's not enough." Ethan shrugged. He decided to leave the technical stuff to Miyako, she's more experienced.

"... How rich are you?!" Kana asked in shock, most of this equipment could only be found in big time studios.

Ruby's expression turned blank. "Rich rich..." She responded in a monotone voice.

Ethan chuckled and leaned back.

He watched as Pieyon made an appearance and snickered as they did the dance.

Aqua sat next to Ethan. "How were you able to get sponsors?" He asked Ethan.

"Let's just say... I had to be persuasive." Ethan winked.

"... Did you use those eyes?" Aqua asked.

"No, just some honeyed words, promises and some money." Ethan put his hands behind his head.

"... What exactly do you do?" Aqua inquired.

"Hmm curious aren't you?" Ethan looked at Aqua.

"Can you blame me?" Aqua narrowed his eyes.

"Work on your stare, if you want people to crumble under your stare, you have to look like your not putting much effort." Ethan advised. "But as for what I do, I currently manage a club back home, I also have some mining side hustles in another place, a... Adult entertainment studio in Hell which I own and rule over." Ethan explained.

"... Hell?" Aqua seemed skeptical of the last one, that was until Ethan's form changed into his demonic form, then shifted back. "Oh..." Aqua felt the intense gaze and understood that Ethan was serious.

"How do you manage all that?" Aqua asked confused, if it was true, Ethan would have to be very busy...

"Before, I had people working for me to overlook it, now I can overlook things myself." Etham told him. "Clones are very useful.

"... Clones?" Aqua blinked.

"Ask Ruby if you wanna know more." Ethan chuckled and used a chakra hand to discreetly get a can of juice.

Aqua was starting to think that this man was of divinity...
