Chapter 4

What does Ms. Kyoto do?
Rubberize Rocketgirl from head to toe
"First thing's first -- whoops a daisy!" Ms Kyoto said, pressing a pedal. Melissa gasped as her chair tilted backwards. Soon she hung inverted, her body held fast by the restraints, as her head plunged unceremoniously into a cool, sickly sweet, orange liquid. She closed her eyes from the burning sensation. She shook her head madly and tried to lift herself above the surface of the liquid, but the restraints prevented that. The liquid poured into her nose and ears, saturating her head.
Melissa's top lip grazed the surface of the liquid, and as she gasped and wailed, a bit of the liquid poured into the roof of her mouth and she swallowed a bit. It was sweet and tangy but also burned. As it continued to saturate her head, soaking into her pores and even into her skull, the burning sensation gradually turned to a faint tingle, until eventually she felt nothing at all, and her struggles ceased. She tried opening her eyes again but quickly shut them when the burning sensation returned.
"What is the meaning of this, Ms Kyoto?" Melissa asked. She felt strong hands wrench her jaw open and shove an orthodontic plaster mold over her top teeth. She briefly felt the same burning sensation through her top teeth before it, too, faded into a tingling sensation and then nothingness. The strong hands returned to repeat the process with her bottom teeth. Melissa grunted an unintelligible objection but could do nothing to fight.
Soon Melissa's anxiety waned. Her head (and teeth) saturated by the strange liquid, she felt calm, almost lethargic. She wondered if she'd been asleep. Suddenly her chair flipped back onto its feet, tossing her to an upright seated position. Her soaked orange hair and head dripped the vile liquid in slow rivulets down the rest of her body.
Grinning, Ms Kyoto pulled the orthodontic molds easily off Melissa's teeth and out of her mouth. Melissa was surprised how easily the molds slid off. She shimmied her jaw from side to side and licked the remaining liquid off the surface of her teeth with her tongue. She was surprised how soft her teeth felt. Then she stared at Ms Kyoto in wonder.
"What the hell was that?" she demanded. She noticed how softly she pronounced her consonants, unlike her usual, articulate, superheroine bravado.
"Just a little concoction to soften you up, Melissa," Ms Kyoto replied. "A mixture of my own design, based on the process used to create rubber. "Judging by your speech and temperament, I'd say it's working beautifully."
Melissa was flabbergasted. "Yeah, right," she scoffed. "Your little vat of kool-aid tastes like shit, but it couldn't possibly --"
Ms Kyoto smacked Melissa hard across the cheek. Melissa stopped talking immediately out of necessity; it was simply no longer physically possible for her to do so. Her eyes widened in confusion as she struggled to comprehend the strange physical sensations she felt. Though she couldn't possibly describe what she felt, she could say with certainty (and surprise) that there was no pain whatsoever.
Instead, her cheek rippled from the impact with Ms Kyoto's hand -- then the ripples spread across her entire face, and her entire head. The smack reverberated in wave after wave from one side of her head to the other. Her head bounced slightly up and down like a bobble-head doll. And strangest of all, she could feel her brain moving gently inside her skull, bouncing off one parietal bone into the other.
Then Ms Kyoto grabbed Melissa's wobbling head. The heroine's frightened eyes caught Ms Kyoto's grinning ones as the villainess absorbed the vibrations, calming the waves until her skin stopped rippling.
"What...what in the world have you done to me?!" Melissa asked.
In response, Ms Kyoto pressed firmly into Melissa's softened skin, forming temporary depressions contorting the heroine's face. She stretched the heroine's cheeks out into an obscene parody of a smile before returning Rocketgirl's face to its proper position. Finally Ms Kyoto's hands quaked rapidly, spasming almost uncontrollably. Melissa felt her rubbery brain bounce around frantically inside her head. Her eyes rolled with dizziness and she clenched them shut in a futile effort to reduce the helpless sensation.
After several minutes, Ms Kyoto released the heroine's head. She giggled as she watched different parts of the heroine's head bulge as her rubbery brain bounced around within. Then the bulges grew gradually smaller, and finally stopped forming altogether.
Melissa opened her eyes. The room still seemed to be spinning. She gasped, coughed, and vomited.
"Now that's what I call a rubber head," Ms Kyoto said. "Time to rubberize the rest of your body." She pressed another pedal and the floor gave way beneath Rocketgirl's seat.
Still strapped helplessly to the chair, the heroine watched with trepidation as the chair began to descend towards a large vat of more of that horrible tangy liquid. "What? No! Please don't do this -- ahh!"
There was a great splash as the chair hit the liquid and sank slowly in. Melissa felt the initial burning sensation climb slowly up her legs, enveloping her torso all the way to her jawline. She tilted her head back to avoid having her mouth converted to rubber, too. It was the only part of her body she could save from this terrible fate.
Does she get fully rubberized? What happens next?
