Roxxie Successfully Restrained (Good End)

Tex wiped her brow, sitting back at her desk. After tying Roxxie and Butterscotch up with all the lasso she had on her, she got back into town, recruiting April and a carriage to lug the two troublemakers back. They were awake when they got back, but her bindings and done their job, and the would-be gold thieves were now locked up tightly in jail.

"Good job, Sheriff." April smiled at her superior. "I know she's been a thorn in Gold Springs' side for a long time!"

"Yeah. It was a little close back there. I'm just glad we got her. ...again..." She muttered. "Just... don't ask for any details, please. It's been a long day."

"Yeah. Not sure how she keeps getting out. Let's hope she stays in there for awhile." She leaned on her desk. "And I wish I was there to help, but at the same time, can't say I envy you, going up against her. She really stinks." She held her nose, smirking a bit.

Tex cracked her back a bit, stretching out. "You don't know the half of it." She looked over her booking papers, before filing them away. "That's that. One Roxxie Roo, serving time for attempted robbery and endangering a law officer." She let out a sigh. "So sick of doing this over and over again... Roxxie... Jacks... Jesse and Jane... How many times have they been booked?"

"Aww, cheer up. It doesn't matter how many times they come back, we'll always come out on top." April put her hand on Tex's shoulder. "Enough work for today. Let's go get some food, and be happy there's one less criminal around for awhile..."

"...you're right. I'm worrying too much. Let's go." The sheriff perked up a bit. Donning her trademark hat, she went with April, and the two ladies made their way into town.

There was no doubt that this was the last they'd see of Roxxie, though. The crooks around Gold Springs were never ever gone for good. But if nothing else, Tex took solace in that for the time being she and Gold Springs'd get a break from the rotten roo and her monstrous mare...
