Lisa felt Scott's left arm hold her tight to his lap as the van started to vibrate as the wheel drove over cracks and potholes. There were a few solid bumps as the van, apparently much sturdier than Lisa would have guessed, ran full speed over the potholes without concern. Just as the ride began to smooth back out, Scott release his hold on Lisa's waist and then a final jump of the van happened, caused by a very large crack in the road.
