Rouge Agent

Max followed Tusha's lead as they walked through the shipping containers, it seemed the place had not yet been alerted to the fact that one of their comrades were dead. "What are you doing so far from home?" Max asked Tusha trying to sound like she was making conversation.

"I cannot say" Tusha replied. "Nikoli is a threat, one our government must take care of."

"So if my country, like, finds out you are here you can get into trouble, right?" Tusha looked at Max suspiciously. "I watch a lot of spy movies' Max said quickly in a ditsy tone.

Whoever Nikoli was, he was a threat to the Russian government, or more likely, to a covert splinter faction of the Russian government, judging by the USSR mark on the tattoo on the back of Tusha's neck it had to be a separate faction, probably made up of communist idealists of the old Union of Soviet Socialist Republic. If that was the case, it would explain why Tusha followed orders to the letter; she belonged to the government faction that created her.

"What do you think?" Tusha was asking.

"Huh?" Max questioned, she had completely zoned out, trying to figure Tusha out and had not heard a word she said, "What?"

"I said I can get you out over the fence, then you can make a break for it, what do you think?"

"No" Max replied too quickly earning another questioning look from Tusha. "I don't wanna be by myself" she added quickly.

"Ja, vell it's too late... Nikoli." Max looked passed Tusha to see Nikoli standing talking to one of his men. His back was to them, this gave Max the opportunity to test her theory. Again she adjusted her pupils so that her vision zoomed in focusing on the back of Nikoli's neck.

"Gotcha," Max whispered, true to her suspicions, she saw a barcode and tag on the back of Nikoli's neck.

He must have turned on his government, gone rogue.

Max had stumbled onto something far more dangerous than a sex **** ring.
