Chapter 3 by Lovelylift Lovelylift

What if....?

Ronara

In one reality, Ronan is a villain who is defeated by the Guardians of the Galaxy, but in another reality, Ronan is a woman named Ronara...

Ronnara was born on Hala, the beating heart of the Kree Empire, amidst the clamor of racial pride and glory. From her earliest childhood, tales of the Kree's greatness, their genetic superiority, and their sacred duty to guide the galaxy were whispered in her ears. She held a steadfast belief in this ideology, a conviction that enveloped her spirit like iron armor.

Ronnara excelled at the Kree military academy. Her physical prowess, strategic intelligence, and boundless zeal made her an exemplary officer. She quickly rose through the ranks of the army, rightfully earning the title of "Accuser," a symbol of authority and the unwavering execution of Kree law.

Upon hearing the whispers of the unparalleled power of the Infinity Stones, Ronnara, like many Kree leaders, set out to find them. But her motivation differed from others. She sought this power not for personal dominion, but to definitively solidify the Kree Empire and eradicate the "insignificant" threats posed by other races. She believed that only one superior power could establish true order in the galaxy, and what power was greater than the Kree?

When Thanos, with his sinister intentions, entered the stage, Ronnara saw him as a potential ally. She was impressed by his power and decisiveness and forged an alliance with him. Ronnara believed that the annihilation of half of all life in the galaxy, however ruthless, would ultimately lead to the survival and flourishing of the "worthy" races, and the Kree would undoubtedly be at the forefront of this list.

Throughout their collaboration, Ronnara witnessed Thanos's increasing ruthlessness and madness. Although she herself believed in the destruction of the Kree's enemies, the indiscriminate and galactic-scale slaughter did not align with her logic of "saving" her people. For the first time, cracks appeared in the armor of her prejudice.

Meanwhile, she encountered Peter Quill, Star-Lord, the leader of a band of outlaws who called themselves the "Guardians of the Galaxy." With his humor, open-mindedness, and interest in various cultures, Peter directly challenged Ronnara's deeply held beliefs. He spoke of the beauty and diversity of the galaxy, the value of every living being, and the folly of blind prejudice.

Initially, Ronnara considered this Earthling rogue to be a pathetic and insignificant creature, but Peter's persistence, courage, and kind heart gradually influenced her. For the first time, she considered the possibility that her view of other races might be wrong. Perhaps in this vast galaxy, there was room for coexistence and mutual respect.

But her ingrained prejudice did not easily dissipate. Years of indoctrination and deep-seated beliefs bound her soul like heavy chains. She was trapped in an internal conflict: on one side, the logic and humanity that had reached her through Peter, and on the other, her ancient beliefs and loyalty to her race.

In the final battle against Thanos, Ronnara found herself at a crucial crossroads. She witnessed the destruction of planets and the suffering of billions of living beings. In that moment, the echo of prejudice in her mind faded, and the voice of her heart, a voice she had long suppressed, reached her ears.

She made a decision. A difficult and fateful decision. She turned to Thanos, not as an ally, but as an enemy. Anger and revulsion at Thanos's atrocities consumed her entire being.

The battle between Ronnara and Thanos was an epic clash, a fight between prejudice and humanity, between destruction and hope. Ronnara fought with all her might, but the power of the Infinity Stones was too much for Thanos. She was defeated, but in her final moments, she looked at Peter, a look in which, for the first time, a trace of regret and understanding could be seen.

Ronnara's ****, though a tragedy, could have been the spark for change within the Kree Empire. Perhaps her sacrifice would be a jolt for the leaders and people of the Kree to reconsider their beliefs and embark on a new path towards peace and coexistence. The echo of prejudice on Hala was silenced, but perhaps the seeds of doubt had been sown in the hearts of some Kree.

Will she have relationships and affairs?
