Jessica threw herself into motion, as the beast lunged at her, Jessica bumped against its back leg, but she quickly recovered as the beast awkwardly wheeled around, the length of its body in the tight alley preventing it from easily doing so.

With her head-start Jessica rushed to the door of her aunt, which was inexplicitly open, but Jessica had no time to contemplate her aunt's dangerous lapse. She slammed the door shut, locking the door. Wild eyed she spun around to her Aunt, putting a finger to her lips to indicate the need for silence. Jessica then saw the broken blood injector in her lap. Mind working quickly, Jessica realized the beast was drawn to this scent of blood. She heard a loud sniff from under the door. The beast was clearly outside. Jessica was now cornered with her aunt unless the wood door could hold against the might of a beast.
