Rogue finds someone else

Rogue left the bedroom and looked for Flex.

Instead of Flex, however, she eventually found a woman who was in the middle of raiding his refrigerator.

The woman turned at the sound of Rogue entering the room and Rogue got a good look at her.

Clad in a black leather bodysuit, she was a slightly muscular, short haired brunette, who appeared to be barely out of her teens.

She looked Rogue up and down and she really liked what she saw.

Rogue introduced herself to the woman, offered a hand to shake and asked her if she was Flex's friend.

"You can call me Stud and let's just say me and Flex run in the same circles." The woman said, taking Rogue's hand and shaking it for a few seconds before reluctantly letting go.

Jackpot. Rogue thought to herself, the way Stud answered the question told her that she had just met another member of the Muties.

"That's not a very subtle codename, is it?" Rogue asked with a raised eyebrow.

"What do you think it means?" Stud responded with a question of her own.

"I think it means you enjoy turn sweet, innocent ladies like me out." She bluntly responded, although she was clearly flirting with her.

Stud was impressed with her answer.

"Maybe you can be next." Stud said.

"Don't get your hopes up, Sugah." Rogue quipped, getting a scowl in repose, it was obvious that Stud didn't like any kind of rejection, even a flirtatious one.

After a few moments of silence, Stud spoke up again.

"Gotta say, the more I think about it the more I realize that Felix is a god damn moron." She said, her scowl turning into a small grin.

"Giving a superhero access to his place, lord only knows just what you could find." Rogue kicked herself, if she hadn't offended Stud, maybe she would have been less suspicious, she had to get Stud off her scent and quick.

"I was kicked out of the X-men for doing the right thing, so fuck em, I'm doing what I want now." Rogue said with as much bitterness as she could gather in her voice.

"Hmmm, I guess their loss is Felix's gain." Stud began, Rogue was a little amused that she now knew Flex's first name and a lot relieve that Stud seemed to but her little bout of bitterness as the truth.

"You know, I think I'm gonna hang around until he gets back." Stud declared, Rogue was fine with that.

Sure she would be able to look through Flex's stuff with Stud here, but she was gonna use this time to smooth things over and, hopefully, ingratiate herself with another members of the Muties.
