Rodia (Tier 1)

Republic intelligence has obtained and decoded a transmission from the separatist high command, that they are planning to invade Rodia. The Republic's forces are preoccupied elsewhere and there is no time to send a sizeable garrison there.

Rodia is a big green, swampy jungle planet, inhabited by the Rodians. They are a green reptilian species with big blueish, purplish and pupil-less eyes.

Rodia has been a supporter of the Republic for a long time now, but their loyalty was wavering when a supply shortage occurred on the planet some weeks ago. They kept asking the Republic for food and supplies, but all they received were promises and kind words, which the government of the planet couldn't use to feed its population... In desperation, they turned to the separatists for supplies, who gladly offered it to them, in return for the planet switching sides in the war. In a last attempt to reverse the situation, Senator Padmé Amidala and Senator Jar Jar Binks travelled personally to the planet and avoided its separatist takeover. Since then, the Republic has been sending steady amount of supplies to Rodia to prevent such an incident.

Now however, the separatists have decided to invade and take control of Rodia with ****.
