Rocky Partnership

Outside the lodge, a rather bitter Brian led his group of friends up the mountain side towards a small frozen over pond that his father installed earlier this year. Initially, Brian had been excited for the pond, he had a perfect plan to get closer to Anna, helping the blonde girl learn to ski, charming her all afternoon, proving what a great guy he really was.

Now Kenny had gone and fucked everything up. Anna might as well have forgotten everyone else in the damn world since she started spending time with Kenny but Brian was still determined, he wasn't giving up on her yet. "This is so stupid. Why the hell would you let them stay back at the lodge alone?" Mindy suddenly hissed out to Brian while catching up to his side,

"Easy, this isn't necessarily a bad thing," Brian calmly replied to the frustrated Asian,

"Not a bad thing? Kenny and Anna are probably fucking right now and you have us marching up a mountain instead of stopping that. God, this was all so stupid, I never should have agreed to this plan, it'd never have worked," Mindy grumbled out as Brian slowly shook his head,

"Maybe they are hooking up maybe not, but either way our plans don't change. We need to use today to keep building up our "relationship" alright? You were right, we're gonna have to be a bit more aggressive around them and you, you'll need to go and talk to Ken directly," Brian continued, his tone near methodical as he spoke,

Mindy's frustration gave way to curiosity and for just a moment a touch of worry as well, "Talk to him about what?"

"Listen, I didn't think they were getting that into each other, so clearly us just batting our eyes and kissing won't bother them too mich unless we get into their heads. The best way to do that is you talking to Ken privately, you need to talk about being with me, be honest, admit that you don't fully want me," Brian smoothly explained, a small smirk now resting on his face,

Mindy tilted her head, "Why do that, I thought I was supposed to be making him jealous, not pity me,"

"Just listen," Brian retorted, "You tell him you're not fully into me but I'm the only one paying you real attention. Make him feel a little guilty, a little worried, make him fucking care. Then, you'll have his attention, and then that's when we really turn it on. We keep up our charade hard, don't give Ken a second glance for awhile, and before you know it, he'll be talking to you. You get somewhere private, talk to him about us again, and then make a move. He'll realize how much he wants you and then you get what you want and I'll get what I want,"

"Make a move? Like, jump him? Brian, I don't know if I can --" Mindy nervously began to say only for Brian to easily put an arm around her waist pulling her in closer,

"You're nervous, I get, you never did something like that before but trust me. By the time you need to make your move we'll have practiced enough that you'll be flowing with confidence," Brian reassured her with a smile,

"Wait, practiced as in...you and me are going to..." Mindy whispered out, her eyes wide in shock,

"I told you, we're gonna have to really sell this. Kenny knowing and even hearing us having sex will kill him," Brian nodded, "Think of it just as practice for the real thing, you'll know what you're doing with Ken and blow his mind,"

"I...jeez...okay, I guess? I mean, that would be nice, knowing how to treat Ken..." Mindy reluctantly agreed,

"Exactly, see it's no sweat," Brian hummed back,

"Hey, wait, you have all these plans to get under Kenny's skin, what about Anna? How do you plan to deal with her?" Mindy quickly asked with an expectant look,

"Leave Anna to me, I have some ideas that should help, they'll just need...a little time to get set up, but trust me I think I know exactly how to shake her out of her infatuation," Brian confidently replied, "Now, come on, let's make sure Nikki and JJ see just how "in love" we are,"

Mindy let out a weak laugh but it faded off to timid silence, "Yeah....Brian, we aren't bad people for doing this right? I love Kenny but I...I don't want to hurt him,"

"Love isn't wrong Mindy. You're doing this because you care about what's best for him," Brian firmly stated, "And I'm doing what's best for Anna,"
