Robin wakes in an embarrassing position

It was like waking up. He was disoriented at first but Robin quickly put his senses back in order, the first sense to come back being smell. It was a familiar musk but Robin couldn't quite place it, all he knew was that it smelled really good. So much so, that he shivered a little bit. Next his hearing returned, which started off as a distant muted thing that grew and swallowed him up. Eventually it cleared into what Robin could only describe as laughter. It was then that he realized that he was sitting on something. His hand was absently rubbing against something while he felt his leg bouncing up and down. That's when he opened his eyes.

He found his vision a bit obscured as it seemed that his face was nuzzling up close to something slightly rough but warm. Pulling back and looking down, Robin saw his legs. They were crossed at the knee with one of them going up and down in an idle bounce and he could feel the fingers of his right hand twirling his brown hair that was coming down past his shoulder. At some point he must have taken it out of his ponytail.

Robin stiffened when he realized why the musky smell was so familiar, it was John's cologne. Robin withdrew his other hand, which had apparently sneaked under John's shirt rubbing his chest. Robin, finally understanding his situation, leaped off of John's lap. Robin looked at John's face, finding it hard to read but could still see embarrassment as John quickly put his hands over his lap.

“Give the lovely couple a hand,” Drake said to the audience while gesturing to Robin and John. The audience exploded with applause as Drake motioned for Robin to take a seat, which he did as fast has he could. Before John could leave, Drake leaned in and whispered something into his ear. Trying to get to his seat, people kept telling Robin how funny he was and how good of a performance he delivered to which Robin could only give a weak “thanks”. Once John was seated Bloodstone simply said, “Thank you everyone and goodnight.” and then withdrew behind the stage curtain.
