Robin kicks his ass!

"Now, get ready to defend yourself," Robin stated, getting into a stance.

"What!? But I'm exhausted!" Felix yelped in protest, clumsily trying to replicate the stance despite said protests.

"Think criminals will care?" Robin asked sarcastically.

"...no, probably not," Felix grumbled, before adding under his breath, "Trained by Batman indeed..."

He then immediately felt Robin's foot plant into his midsection, having barely seen the young man move. Felix went down, trying to catch his breath. "Foolish! Don't stop moving, even when hit!" Robin shouted as he struck Felix in the face, knocking him to the floor. "Stationary targets are dead targets!"

Felix, trying to take Robin's advice to heart, moved to roll, barely dodging Robin's follow up stomp. He wasn't stupid. He knew that Robin was holding back, and could have landed several more hits on him if he really wanted to. He was deliberately giving Felix openings to seize on, chances to learn how to fight better.

The "spar" lasted for several more minutes, before Robin called it. "...well, not as hopeless as some hired thugs I tend to have to take down, but you certainly need a lot of work."

Felix groaned in reply. Robin knelt down next to where he laid, and left a sheet of paper. "Come to this address tomorrow evening, and we will continue your training." He started to walk off, and looked at Starfire. "Coming?" he asked.

"Oh, go ahead, Robin, I'll stay and get to know our new friend better," Starfire waved at him, and he sighed, and headed back upstairs.

"...don't worry, Master, I can kiss you all over and make the bruises better," Diana grinned as she knelt next to Felix, who managed a weak smile as he sat up, and looked at Starfire.

"So, what's your story?" he asked her.
