Robin changes her strategy

Robin began retreating backward, trying to out-range Lucina by using her floating sword’s greater range even if it meant giving up ground and approaching the edge of the platform. More importantly, this allowed her to change the angle of her attacks: by minimizing the chance that Lucina had to land a solid blow, Robin could focus on trying to land some hits of her own. She knew they wouldn’t be solid either, but that wasn’t the point. “Lucina!” she shouted, trying to reason with the spirited fighter.

Lucina had no response and gave no quarter, continuing to rain Dolphin Slashes upon Robin with the Parallel Falchion. The attack came from ever-changing angles, each just barely failing to find purchase.

“Lucina!” Robin called more desperately now, gritting her teeth as sparks flew from her own sword.

“What is it? Your final words?” Lucina taunted, flourishing her sword for a fate-changing final strike.
