Robert

"What?"

"I said my name is Robert... Not BOB."

There is a pause, I'm sure so she can stuff down her rage. My suspicions are confirmed as she speaks with an oddly kind voice I've never heard before.

"Robert can we please talk?"

I give a nice long dramatic pause that I do my best not to laugh during. I then get myself into character before speaking.

"Um... Um yeah I guess..."

I lean back in my little computer chair as she enters hesitantly, this is her first time in this room I'm sure. I find it hilarious how hard she's trying to not look disgusted or angry, she must really need me to stay. I can definitely use her desperation to fuck with her, this is going to be fun.

"Hey man what uh... What's going on? I just talked to Hannah and she said you were upset and put in your two weeks notice."

I nod "Yes ma'am I did... To be honest I'm sick of the way I'm treated and I'm just done."

She crosses her arms "Come on Bo... Robert... I know we can be tough on you, but that's just because this gym is like or baby, it means everything to us! Seriously this seems ****."

I shake my head "Whatever Jane I've already made my decision... Actually I'm not even sure I can do the two weeks..."

I giggle on the inside as I see the look of fear in her eyes "Hey woah come on! You are seriously important to this place you can't leave us hanging with no notice! Please be reasonable..."

I lean back further in my chair "Look Jane I'm definitely quitting but I'm not the kind of man to do it without notice... I just... I'm in pain you know? Climbing that latter last night tweaked something in my back, plus my knees are already not great..."

She bites her lip, I'm sure to hold back some snide comment about how lazy I am "Come on I'm begging you just stay till we have a replacement! For real there has to be something I can do."

I'm grinning ear to ear on the inside, I know exactly what she can do.

"Hmmm... Well aren't you a licensed physical therapist? And like a trained masseuse? Maybe if I had one of those one hour massages you used to give I could like... I don't know... I could like keep going for awhile right?"

I relish the look of shock on her face, I bet she never saw that coming in a million years. Giving massages is actually how her and Hannah met I guess. After Hannah took over Jane still had some clients but I think jealousy put an end to that very quickly. Since then Jane has focused on her own training instead of helping other people, not a surprise that Hannah convinced her to be more selfish I suppose.

"Well I don't really do that anymore... Here let me call Sarah and have her come in early she will give you the works..."

I roll my eyes as I heave myself out of the chair "Forget it... I knew I shouldn't have even said anything... I'm just gonna get out of here, maybe I'll see you tomorrow but I doubt..."

She interrupts me "Hey stop!... Look... I... Ok I'll give you a massage just this once... Just... You have to promise to stay ok?"

To see such an imposing, powerful, muscular woman bend to my will is more glorious than I ever dreamed "Alright... If you give me the "works" as you put it I guess I can stay..."

Her eyes are glowing with distain, I relish her attempts to stay calm "Fine... I'll... I'll see you in private room one in five minutes..."

She slams the door on her way out, quite obviously not able to contain her anger.

*Bing*

The sound of my phone going off makes me smile, I quickly pull it out to see what I've got. A little notification is showing a new app that is unlocked, the little symbol for it looks like an ice cube or something. As I open it I see the same screen as the last app, two little profile pictures to choose from. I press the one for Jane and a very simple screen pops up, it's just one large circle with a pause symbol in the center, at the bottom it has text that says...

"3 minutes"

I smile even wider, I have no idea what is going on with this thing, but I'm going to find out!
