It wasn't until Jasmin felt a sudden jolt on her arm that she realised she'd stopped moving, just staring into the distance picturing Megan's almost naked body.
That's why as she saw the two teenage boys darting away from her it took her a second to register that she no longer had Megan's bag on her arm. In fact it was currently in the arms of one of the two boys running from her.
Jasmin felt the blood drain from her face as she realised the implication. The bookshop keys were in that bag. The bookshop that was currently locked with the nearly naked Megan still inside.
"No! Wait!" She screamed, giving chase on instinct, feeling her sandals slipping on the fake marble floor of the mall. As the boys continued to pull away from her, she cursed herself for not wearing more suitable running shoes.
