Rivalries

After getting the fairy tail brand stamped on your right forearm, you get a little tour from mirajane (girl from earlier) and she tells you about all the jobs and how the S class jobs are upstairs.

Deciding you want to jump straight to a mission, you head towards the board downstairs and look around. For a good 5 minutes, you look around and see no jobs worth your time.

Growing impatient, you grunt and head towards the stairs. As you do this, the tavern begins to fall into an eerie silence with all eyes on you. Including the masters who could stop you if he wanted to.

The moment you press your foot against the first step, you instinctively leap backwards a few spaces dodging a metal fist that could’ve hit you across the face.

Once you land, you look at your attacker and see a red haired woman covered in armour with a blue skirt on. Even you have heard of her, she’s Erza. The strongest woman in fairy tail.

“Only those who are S class are allowed up these stairs” she says sternly whilst giving you an evil glare that sends shivers down everyone’s spine.

“Well none of the jobs down here are worth my time” you reply starting to get interested and a little excited due to the stories you’ve heard about her strength.

“Rules are rules. Break them and you face me” she says sternly as she extends her arm with an open palm before closing it causing a bright yellow flare to form which then dies out in the form of a long metal sword. This you to get a little more excited. There’s a silent pause for a second until you take one step towards her. She takes off as soon as your foot meets the ground whilst pointing a large silver sword at you.

She’s really fast and this attack would surely win against anyone else she’s fighting considering the speed she’s moving at even though you’re only 5 meters apart.

You however are a different story. You grin as she gets closer and begin to form a fist that quickly becomes engulfed with scorching purple flames that everyone else in the room was able to feel considering it’s small size currently.

“Purgatory Dragon’s Blazing Hell...” you mumble under your breath before clocking your fist back ready to attack. As you do this, you only use a small intensity just enough to get her to back down. You then release for a slow punch to release the magical energy that shoots out in the form of a large, purple fireball.

Unable to do anything, you watch as Erza freezes as she is heading towards your flame. Suddenly, a large hand about 8 feet tall slams in between the ball of fire and Erza taking the **** of your attack.

You look to the side and see that it’s makarov stopping the both of you.
