Risk the water

"I think we can get through here." You tell Cassia "I doubt the other two demons will be able to harm us now that we are ready for them. Are you willing to try?"

"I don't know Adonis." Cassia answers hesitantly "I can't swim nearly as well as you, and we'll have to keep our supplies dry as well." You hadn't thought about the difficulty of bringing your armor and supplies with you, but looking over the leather suit where it lay at your feet you get an idea.

"How about if we pack the padding into the armor's leggings." You say as you demonstrate by stuffing the quilted tunic into one of the legs of your armor. The oiled leather should be fairly water resistant. "And as for swimming, I swam because it was easier, but most of the way we can walk and hold the bundles over our heads." You can see the doubt in her eyes but smile reassuringly. "You can do this Cassia; this part is easy." You are not sure if it your persuasive argument, or more likely the lack of a better alternative but with a sigh of acceptance she starts removing the armor that she had just finished tightening.

Immediately you realized that to make this work Cassia would have to be as naked as you were. Cassia too seemed to come to this realization about the same time as you because no sooner than she stepped out of the thick leather leggings than she paused.

"I guess you'll get to see me now. It's only fair." She added "After all you've risked for me." Your mind whirls as her words sink in, but before you can say anything Cassia starts pulling at the buckles that secure her top. Since you first felt her body pressed against yours in the apartment building where you first rescued her you've wondered what she looked like. Despite your best intentions, the feel of her body pressed against yours led to undeniable evidence of your desire more than once already tonight. Most recently just moments ago as you rushed from the dark water to drive away the demon who was accosting her.

Soon both of you have packed your gear as well as you can and rising together you approach the still dark water with Cassia by your side. You sense her hesitation as you reach the the water's edge.

"It will be all-right Cassia." You say trying to inject as much confidence as you can into your words, hoping that you are not leading Cassia into even more danger. Cassia nods in acknowledgement and then with a giggle she points to the erection that juts from between your legs.

"Are you going to wander around the catacombs like that?" She asks lightening the mood a little.
