Rise and shine you idiot

Despite Etna's obvious disgust at Laharl's 'behavior' during her final years at the castle I could see a bit of softening happen in her gaze at the mention of Flonne, my eyebrow raising in curiosity over the reaction. True, there were more than enough bodies around with Etna and the Prinnies...but perhaps another purchase would be worth it in the long run. The idea of Flonne's huge jugs did sound tempting...eh, perhaps I'd ask Etna about it later...in much more tactful terms of course.

However, as Abby and Bea 'conversed' about chest sizes I glanced over to the corner where Cammie had fainted, her body slowly regaining consciousness as her dead faint faded. "Hm...dood...I just had the worst nightmare..." Cammie said, rubbing her eyes and yawning as if she had just woken up from a peaceful nap. "Oh the nightmare is just beginning," Etna said with a grin, Cammie snapping to attention and staring right at Etna with wide eyes, "No, dood! I'm sorry! I'll be good! The best-" "Yeah, yeah," Etna interrupted, waving off Cammie with a glare, "Best behavior and everything, you said that already."

With a roll of my eyes I walked over to Cammie, crouching down to her level with a very direct stare, "Do you understand what you did wrong?" Cammie nodded quickly, huddling further into herself as if I were going to hit her. "Will you ever do it again?" Cammie frantically shook her head, holding up her hands to emphasize her point. "Good," I said, patting her on the head and standing up, turning back to Etna with a nod, "There, I think she's got the point." Etna crossed her arms with a huff, glaring at Cammie before she looked at me, "Fine, but if it happens again it'll be her ass."

Cammie slowly stood up, shivering from fear but much better than before. I waved her over to the rest of the Prinnies as I approached Etna, all three of them falling into line with Abby and Bea glancing over at Cammie with a slight glare. For her part Cammie still looked fearful and mortified, her punishment really sticking to her as she nervously glanced around. "Etna," I began, causing all eyes to jump to me, most important of all being Etna herself.

"Yes Johnny?" Etna said with a curiously raised eyebrow, her own glare at Cammie breaking with my voice. "I was thinking about the reward system-" I began but was instantly cut off by Etna, her eye twitching with annoyance, "Hell no John. We tried it your way and it ended up like...that!" Etna's finger pointed at Cammie, an accusatory tone in her voice as she pointed out the true trouble maker. "You expect me to be nice after that?!" Etna growled, giving all of the Prinnies a hard look, "From now on it's punishments or nothing!"

I watched as all three of the Prinnies faces fell, disappointment etched into their features with none more than Cammie, guilt weighing down on her as she realized how badly she messed up. "Wait," I said, holding up a hand in defense as I spoke, "We can't punish them all for one of them making a mistake, however big it may be." "Oh?" Etna asked, her tone challenging and strong as she responded, "And what if it happens again? You're playing too soft with them John, they need to get their asses handed to them on a daily basis so they know how to act right!" At this point Abby and Bea were glaring at Cammie with a thousand suns worth of fire, Cammie beginning to wither under their harsh stare.

"But think about how well they did with the reward system Etna," I pleaded, trying to reason with a robot was rather interesting when I thought about it, "They got all of the work done and were even peaceful with each other. There were no problems around the house and they even managed to make this place look like new. You can't tell me that isn't a good result." For a moment Etna seemed to consider it, her tail waving slowly in thought as all three of the Prinnies held their breath...
