Rio reveals that Kim is cured

It's the next morning, and Rio is on the podium in front of the Town Hall to hold her press conference

Rio: Good morning everyone. I know you have all heard of the tragic news that happened in Middleton, where the villain Shego brutally murdered Kim Possible's family

Rio: as well as the kidnapping of Ann Possible and Wade Load and the death of his mother

Reporter: HAVE YOU TRACKED SHEGO DOWN

Rio: Not yet, but we're working on locating her. But we do have good news, isn't that right, Director Pearce

You walk up to Rio

Aiden: it is Mayor

Rio walks out of the way, and you take the stage

Aiden: As many of you are aware, Kim Possible was mind-controlled by Dr Drakken to break into Warden Incorporated after Shego failed. We have been treating her since we captured her, to get rid of her mind control

Aiden: So, without further ado, I present to you Kim Possible, now free of Drakken's control

Kim walks up the stage in her costume

Kim: thank your mr Pearce, for helping me gain back control

Aiden: I was just doing my job, now the stage is yours

You walk away from the microphones, and Kim takes the stage

Kim: first of all i want to apoligise to every one in new york and the rest of the world, for putting everyone in danger, my carelessnes got me under mind control, and who knows what i would have done if the Warden's of peace hadn't stopped me

Kim: I am also very sad and angry that Drakken and Shego killed my family and captured my mother and Wade, who is like a little brother to me, and I swear I will not stop until they're brought to justice

Kim: But I can't do it alone. I've relied on myself for too long, and I failed because of it. For that reason, I have agreed to a partnership with Warden Incorporated

Kim: While nothing will change if you hire me through my site to deal with people, this means I'll get to call in for help when I need it, and they can also call in me for help

Reporter: WHAT ABOUT YOUR PARTNER RON STOPPEBLE

Kim: Unfortunately, Ron, is still under mind control, but he will join me again once he too has been freed from control

Reporter: HOW IS HE STILL UNDER CONTROL WHILE YOU'VE BEEN FREED

Aiden: I can answer that. We focused on Kim first, as she knows Shego better than anyone

Kim: And together with Warden Incorporated, we will put Drakken and Shego behind bars, for good

Reporter: YOU DON'T WANT REVENGE?

Kim: The idea has crossed my mind, but I will not lower myself to their level

Reporter: YOU'VE PUT THEM AWAY MORE THAN ANY OF YOUR OTHER VILLAINS, WOULDN'T IT BE BETTER TO KILL THEM

Kim: There's always a better solution

Aiden: thank you for inpput

Reporter: IT JUST SEEMS YOU CARE MORE ABOUT PUTTING VILLAINS AWAY, INSTEAD OF PUTTING THEM DOWN IN ORDER TO PROTECT PEOPLE

The crowd starts to clap and applaud when she said it

Aiden: Can I get your name, please

Reporter: MY NAME IS NOT IMPORTANT, YOU CAN CALL ME FIRECRACKER, HOST OF THE PODCAST THE TRUTHBOMB, THE ONLY SOURCE THAT TELLS THE TRUTH ABOUT HEROES AND KEEPS THEM ACCOUNTABLE

Aiden: I see, you want accountability, then let me inform you and everyone here about what I'm working on

Aiden: We're in the final stages of a device that can take someone's powers away, permanently, and give them to someone else. This device, once completed, will be used on the criminals with superpowers to take their gifts away

Firecracker: AND WHO WILL THESE POWERS GO TO

Aiden: someone we can trust with the powers

Firecracker: SOMEONE OF YOUR CHOOSING, HOW DON'T WE KNOW YOU'RE NOT GONNA GIVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL USE IT FOR EVIL

Aiden: I will not be the one who chooses, that decision belongs to the mayor

Firecracker: LIKE THAT'S ANY BETTER, GIVE MORE POWER TO SOMEONE IN CHARGE

Rio: Enough. I was chosen by the people of New York. The streets have become safer since I've been mayor, so don't you dare think I'm corrupt

Rio: And don't think I believe for a second that you care about how we do things, you just want to bring attention to yourself

Firecracker: THAT'S NOT TRUE

Rio: Then why did you make sure everybody heard who you were and that you have a podcast? You came here for one reason only, for yourself

Rio: Now, if you all excuse us, this press conference is over. You can thank Firecracker for the reason that we're not answering any more questions

You all leave

Firecracker: YOU COWARDS, THE PEOPLE WILL KNOW THE TRUTH

You all get into Rio's limo

Kim: Sorry, master, that didn't really go as planned

Aiden: Not your fault, tough we got the information out that we wanted

Rio: She could become a problem

Aiden: I doubt it, she'll become a pain in the neck, but I don't see her becoming a real problem

Rio: She could turn the people against us

Aiden: Let her, it's us who keep the city safe, not her, and we'll remind them all of that

Aiden: Though it wouldn't hurt to keep an eye on her podcast
