Rio gives her speech

It's the next day, and Rio's press conference as the new mayor is about to begin, when Ada walks on the stage

Ada: Good morning everyone. As most of you probably know, my name is Ada Wong, and I am the police chief of our beautiful city

The crowd starts to applaud

Ada: Through the years, I have seen as our city has been turned into the hellhole that it is today, but that all about to change, so without further ado, allow me to give the podium to my friend and your new mayor, Rio Morales

The crowd cheers again

Rio walks onto the podium

Rio: Thank you Ada, and thank all of you for voting for me, so that we can change the city for the better

Rio: But I had help, it wouldn't be fair for me to get the spotlight, so give a big applause for my partner and your new Deputy Mayor, Victoria Neuman

The crowd continues to applaud as Victoria walks onto the stage

Victoria: Thank you all

Protester: SHUT THE FUCK UP SLUTS, YOU DON'T DESERVE TO STAND THERE

Ada signals to some of her police officers, and they go to arrest him

Protester: GET YOUR HANDS OFF OF ME

He tries to run away, but Victoria uses her powers on him to give him a heart attack, which causes him to fall to the ground

Ada: WHAT'S GOING ON

Police officer: HE SEEMS TO BE HAVING A HEART ATTACK

Rio: People, please move away so the officer can get him to safety

?: NO NEED

Gwen swings in and lands next to the victim and uses the tendrils of the symbiote on him to stop the heart attack, or so it seems to the public. In reality, Victoria stopped using her powers, which stopped his heart attack

Gwen: HE'S OKAY

Protestor: t-thank you

Gwen: You're welcome, though you're still under arrest for causing a scene. He's all yours, officer

Rio: What a hero we have here, everybody, please give a warm applause to Spider-Womann

The crowd cheers

Victoria: Please join us up here

Gwen: Sure, why not? I was supposed to appear a little later

Gwen swings up to the podium

Rio: That's not a problem, because we're getting to that now

Rio: You might all be wondering why we're standing in front of Fisk Tower. That's because it's time for a change in the way the city deals with heroes and villains

Rio: So allow me to introduce someone to all of you, my good friend Aiden Pearce

You walk up to the stage and give both Rio and Victoria a handshake before you grab a microphone to address the crowd

Aiden: hello everybody my name Aiden Pearce and most of you don't me yet, but you will, as Mayor Morales has hired me for a special project, heroes and villians leave a path of destruction wherever they go, without caring about the little people, i'm sure the heroes mean well, but i know how it is for some of you, your behind on rent your about to get in your old car that's barely running when someone like the Rhino uses it to throw at spider-man, and just like that you lost your car, that sucks, it really does, and happends to frequently, don't you all agree

The crowd nod their heads and cheers

Aiden: that changes today

You press a button, revealing the new name and logo on Fisk Tower

Aiden: i present to you Warden Incorporated, the official hero agency of New York, i want you all to listen well, because this might be a tough pill to swallow for some, as of today all heroes must become part of my agency, or they will be seen as illegal vigilantes, it is time for heroes to be held responsible, so when your car gets wrecked in fight between a hero that is part of Warden Incorparated, we will fix it for you, for free, but we will only do this for heroes that work for the agency,

You see someone in the audience put their hand up

Aiden: yes miss

Female civilian: What happens to heroes that aren't part of the agency

Ada: They'll be seen as an enemy of the city

Victoria: You might want to rephrase that, police chief Ada, it's not like the police will immediately open fire on those heroes

Aiden: Deputy Mayor Neuman is correct, heroes will get a warning first, they then have a week to come to the agency so we can work something out

Another civilian puts his hand up

Aiden: yes good sir

Male Civilian: How do we know you won't **** your power, since you'll be in control of all the heroes

Aiden: An excellent question sir, but I think Mayor Morales can answer that

Rio: As the mayor, I have the power to choose who will be in charge of Warden Incorporated, so I can fire Mr. Pearce on the spot if he abuses his power

Aiden: One more thing you should all know, there will be a hero team at the top of the company, like the Avengers or the Justice League, called the Wardens of Peace. This team will consist of the best heroes the city has to offer, so when tragedy strikes, they will come together to defend the city

Aiden: So, allow me to introduce you to the first hero that joined Warden Incorporated and the leader of the Wardens of Peace, Spider-woman

Gwen walks up to you as the crowd cheers

Aiden: welcoem aboard

Gwen: Glad to be part of it

You and Gwen shake each other's hands

You hand Gwen a microphone

Gwen: let me be real with all of you when mayor Morales came to me with the idea of teh agency i wasn't sure i liked it, buti changed my mind after talking to her and mr Pearce, there right heroes need to take responsibilty, so join me as our city enters it's new age, an age were you don't need to be afraid to walk the streets

Rio: Thank Spider-Woman, I know this wasn't in my campaign, but I had to do this, I lost my husband and my son to the dangers of this city. Enough is enough, it's time to change

The crowd applauds

on the other side of the city

Criminal 1: This is insane

Criminal 2: No, it's genius, most of the cops are at the press conference of the new mayor

Criminal 1: We're breaking into the Baxter building, you know, the home of the Fantastic Four

Criminal 3: who are off planet

Criminal 2: Come on dude, do you have any idea, how much money we can earn with this job

Criminal 1: We'll never get into the lab of Mr. Fantastic

Criminal 3: We don't need to, we're going for the garage, there will be plenty of things for us to steal there

The criminals arrive in the garage

The criminals split up and start putting everything of value into their bags

He looks behind him and sees nobody

He stops looking behind him and suddenly gets kicked to the ground

He watches in shock as Invisible Woman stops using her powers and becomes visible again

Invisible Woman: Hi, not a wise plan to break into our house
