Right where it hurts...

"I'm almost worried about this." I wiped off the axe and placed it back onto the now tarp covered wood pile. This time both Helen and I had made sure the water went the right direction when we'd taken it off. And the dirt was nice and firm too. Ok, forget that one idea about mud wrestling... even though I'd never really been into it, for some reason an old John Candy movie was now running through my head.

"Don't worry, if I wanted ta hurt you, you probably wouldn't catch on until a few days later." Nikki smiled. "I noticed you aren't exactly good about catching signals. You're de kinda guy who wonders about da flashing sirens and people screaming at him while he's trying to walk on train tracks."

"OW!" Helen winced visibly. "I feel like I should brace myself, now. You really know how to pick em, Brent.."

"Don't worry about it Miss Butch in the streets, Femme in the sheets," Nikki smiled. "You're such a stereotype that even straight people know about it."

"I don't think you really qualify as straight anymore," Helen pointed out, "I mean, how many girls have you been in bed with today?"

"If you get to still be gay after fucking him, I get to still be straight after fucking you." Nikki shrugged. "Although, I'll admit, this is a hell of a good introduction. Manson had nothing on this kinda love bombing."

"Damn, you're still on about that whole cult thing," I slid the tarp back over the woodpile, with Nikki's help. She took up her own towel, and I started loading her arms with the wood. "I notice you didn't bring a towel for me."

"I didn't expect you ta carry." Nikki shrugged. "You're also a crappy dom. You want us to like you too much. Absolutely zero on the breaking us down, or does that come after the social isolation?"

"Ok, officially, when she moves in, we're starting a score board." Helen inclined her head towards Nikki, as her arms were already full.

"Who said anything about me moving in? I'm married, remember?" Nikki shook her head.

"Suuuure. Heard that one before. " Helen rolled her eyes. "Hell, I used to use one like it. Just because I never fucked a guy before doesn't mean I never went out with one."

"Yeah, definitely putting up a scoreboard. But the apartment's way too small for even you two. I can't see us all piling into one room, with Carla in the other."

"Are you two talking about moving in already? Fuck, Helen, I take it back. You ARE a dyke." NIkki began moving around the house, and she called back over her shoulder. "See you two inside."

With that I was left with Helen, who shook her head happily before following Nikki. I noticed they had taken all the wood that we had cut, leaving me nothing to carry. The fog hadn't burned off completely, and there were still a few wisps flowing through the air. It was pretty quiet, but from inside the cabin I could hear the soft sound of water running, and what sounded like an occasional feminine laugh.

It was amazing. Everything was getting done, and Maria was.... shit, what time was it? And how exactly am I going to explain what's going on to a cop... with **** around. The momentary image of Al Pacino came to my brain, and I imagined greeting Maria at the door in a half unbuttoned white shirt with enormous lapels. I groaned inwardly at the thought, and realized that I was actually going to have to go out on a facsimile of a date here as well.

Ugh, what did I have that looked respectable? Apart from the sweater? Dammit, I needed to go through my clothes. Wait, no, I didn't need to go through my clothes... I had Four women here who had just lost a bet. Well, I mean, three, but Nikki had agreed to do anything I said.
