A voice comes from above you. “I don’t know what makes a hopeless little thing like you turn to a life of crime, but give it up. You’re not cut out for it. I’ll turn a blind eye this time, so go live an honest life.”

SHE’S INVISIBLE!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!

“AHHHHHHHH!!!” you shriek. You still have little experience using your powers, but your terror reflex makes up for it as you lift two nearby trash cans telekinetically and fling them at the bodiless voice. One connects, knocking her to the ground and causing her to reappear. You use the chance to scramble back to your feet as she sits on the ground and rubs her head. Oops, maybe you overdid it a bit. “S-Sorry…”

“Tch. Lucky shot.” She quickly turns invisible again. You came here to avoid fighting superheroes and just score an easy win for once, yet now you’re fighting an opponent you can’t even see! This is awful!

You pick the trash cans up from behind the invisible woman and pull them back towards you, this time catching your opponent in the back. Unfortunately, you pull too hard, making the projectiles collide with you as well. Both you and the black-haired woman fall to the ground with her on top of you. She reappears, leaving you face to face with a very irritated enemy. You wince in anticipation, bringing your hands up to protect your fragile face. “N-Not the face!” you beg.

The scary girl grabs your wrists, wrestling with you and trying to pin you to the floor. Being much stronger than you, she inevitably succeeds. In a last ditch effort you pull a garbage can into her side, rolling her off of you and onto her stomach. You hold the can in place against her back, keeping her pressed against the ground. Phew. She seems to be stuck for now. You nearly pass out from relief. This lady is scary.
