Ria and Karn keep a low profile.

They packed camp in the morning and set off south into the forest. After an uneventful day of travel through the thick woods, they stopped to make camp again. They set up their tents in a large ring of trees, some of which had fallen to create a natural fortification. It would be as safe a camp site as they could hope for in the wilderness.

Ria and Karn strategically kept their distance from one another. Karn knew that the group would be suspicious if Ria suddenly appeared subservient to him. They maintained a cool distance, no matter how much Ria's loins ached to have him inside her again. That evening, though it took a great deal of Ria's willpower not to join Karn in his tent and spread her legs for him, they set up their tents separately, on opposite sides of the camp.
