With the keys, you rush over to Mila and open her cage, and see that the arcane cuffs that have her hand bound behind her back are syphoning both her magic and life. You’re all out of magic, but you do have some healing potions and med-kits. You feed her **** body a healing potion and instantly see her chest rising more and her breathing exponentially stronger. You give her all the potions before you take a long rest, hoping for the best.

You wake up feeling recharged, and you heal Mila up right away. Then you throw the cage door keys as far as you can past the ledge, falling down to god knows where in the cave. You then cast Locate Object to find the nearest key. You get a ping almost instantly. You find a key along with some gold and gemstones in a strongbox hidden inside a false rock by the alcove where Klarg slept.

The key worked. As soon as you get them off her hands, you use your last ounce of energy to cast a healing spell to Cure Wounds as you sit on the ground next to her and bring her head up onto your lap.

Her eyes shot open, and as she took a big gasp of air. Her hands were feeling your face, checking to see if you were real or just a figment of her imagination. When she convinced herself that you were not a figment of her imagination, she threw her arms around your neck, hugging you tight, and started sobbing.

After some time and emotions had passed, and quiet contemplation, in which you simply remained quite letting her lie on your shoulder, she decided to speak.
