Cassidy and Emily meet, and Cole bumps into Lucy West

Return to the Complex

2 WEEKS LATER...

I walked into the lobby, arm around Cassidy’s shoulders and my other hand carrying my bag, and Riley’s. Said sister was laughing and giggling about something, and Cassidy laughed. I gave Cassie a kiss on the cheek and Riley and I headed into 101.

Natalie was outside supervising everyone’s return to the complex, and Riley draped her delicious body over the couch. She bit her lip, her eyes twinkling. I dropped our bags and walked forwards to lay on top of her, our lips meeting heatedly as Riley grabbed my face and kissed me harder. I put my hands on her face, my thumb rubbing her cheek as we kissed like a couple who hadn’t seen each other in weeks.

When I pulled back, Riley looked a bit upset.

“What’s wrong?” I asked, and she laced her fingers with mine.

“I have to leave.” Riley apologized.

“Leave the Glade?” I asked. She nodded.

“It was only meant to be a quick visit, but then... we happened. I haven’t ever felt so... alive than I do when you’re holding me, kissing me. I’m the worst big sister ever. But I fucking love you, Cole Campbell.” Riley blushed. I leaned down and kissed my big sister.

“I love you, too.” I whispered. Riley beamed.

“I’m going back to my place to pack up and move out. I’ll be back in... a month?” Riley asked. I nodded.

“Sounds perfect. I guess I can mooch kisses of Cassie until you get back.” I grinned. Riley laughed and kissed me, one last time. She grabbed the bag I’d dropped on the floor, and headed out.

I flopped back on the couch, frowning.

———

“Hey, Cole! Where’s Riley?” Natalie asked, coming in with a brown paper bag, full of groceries.

“She headed back to her apartment. She’s going to move out, and she’ll be back in a month, tops.” I said. Natalie tapped her lips. I laughed and kissed Natalie, wrapping my arms around her possessively.

“You were saying?” Natalie quirked a grin.

“Riley’s gonna move in here, full time.” I informed Natalie. Natalie smirked.

“So you guys can sleep together, right?” Natalie laughed. I shrugged, flushing a bit.

“Maybe.” I admitted.

“Alright, well, dinner will be ready in about an hour... why don’t you take a call?” Natalie asked, pointing to the phone where a pad of paper sat with a list of tenant problems. I glanced at the list, scanning for an easy one.

“Ah! 306 needs someone to help put together a bed.” I grinned. Natalie laughed.

“Have fun assembling a bed!” she called after me. I rode the elevator up to the third floor, and walked to 303, and knocked. It was opened by a familiar face.

“Lucy?” I asked, grinning. She hugged me, quite tightly.

“Been a while. I mean, I saw you a few days ago, but we haven’t talked in a long time.” Lucy smiled.

“You’re right. Maybe we could grab coffee one morning?” I asked. Lucy put a hand on my arm.

“Sounds good.” she smiled, warmly. I offered a smile as she stepped aside and let me in.

“Who’s apartment is this?” I asked.

“My friend Jessie’s. Her new roommate just moved in, so I’m helping her set up.” Lucy explained.

“Is it the landlord?” a vaguely familiar voice called, and out walked Jessie Winter. I’d met her briefly in the lobby, and we’d had a nice chat.

“Oh! Cole, hi.” Jessie beamed, her cheeks bright red.

“That Cole?” a voice asked curiously, and I glanced at the girl who’d poked her head out of the room Jessie had exited.

Lucy noticed my lust, I supposed, as she nudged my shoulder.

“You always go for the small ones, huh? Emily, Cassidy, now Lizzie, too?” Lucy grinned. Jessie looked a bit shaken by Lucy’s comments, probably as she was a tall, willowy busty girl who wasn’t anything like Cassidy or Emily.

“Bed’s this way.” Jessie said a bit less invitingly, and she led the way into the room she’d left. She and Lucy left quickly, and I was left to assemble it with Lizzie, or whatever her name was.

“Cole Campbell.” I smiled at my partner.

“I’m Elizabeth Rodrick.” she smiled back, and I gave her a wide grin.

We worked well together, and soon that bed was damn well made. We high fived, and my fingers curled around her slender ones until we were holding hands. Elizabeth was blushing madly, but I didn’t let go. Neither did she. I pulled her closer by our entwined hands, and her eyes widened in anticipation as I leaned slowly down, but my phone buzzed and ruined the moment.

“Yes?” I answered it.

“Hey, Cole! It’s Hannah. Do you wanna come to movie night tomorrow? I asked Emily, and she said she’d be happy to have you there. Also... well, she’s bringing her boyfriend. And Lawrence is staying up this time. So if you want, you could bring Cassidy. You are still dating her, right?” Hannah fretted.

“Yes, I am. I’ll talk to her about it.” I said, and I started walking, blowing a kiss to Lizzie, who blushed faintly. God I loved shy girls. I headed out of Jessie and Lizzie’s apartment and headed down towards Cassidy’s.

———

“Hey.” I smiled at Julia, who whimpered softly. I grinned wickedly and slapped her ass as I walked past, and she yelped.

“Hey, Cole! What’s up?” Cassie asked curiously. I glanced sideways at Julia, who rushed off.

“I was invited to kind of a couples’ movie night for tomorrow night. Before you agree though, there’s something you should know. The two girls who invited me are sisters. One’s my ex-girlfriend, the other is the girl I knocked up.” I winced. Cassidy stares at me blankly.

“Sounds fun.” she said warily.

What happens during movie night?
