It was useless to try catching up with the kidnappers. I could not know what was their destination and I could not go as fast as an elevator. There was nothing else for it but to hope she could escape them on her own. Besides, the corridor (and probably the rest of the school) was filled with rapists and I was not prepared enough to face them. I turned back to my room and closed the door behind me. I bypassed the pieces of glass and the bleeding body of the guy I had just knocked out (or killed?), not without trembling just thinking about what he would have done to me if I had not been cautious.

I took off my trainers to examine the cut on my foot. It was no big deal. I wiped the blood with a tissue found in the pile of stuffs from my suitcase before slipping on socks. I made the most of my quiet time to put on a bra. It would postpone a potential groper...

That last thought made me realize how bad the situation was. I was pleased about avoiding ****! I had to get out of this crazy place. But it would not be easy with all the zombies on the way. It was important to be sure I had everything I needed to survive with me. I could not wander around with so little equipment and food. I packed my rucksack with a flashlight, some spare garment, a towel (always bring a towel), some more junk food, a bottle of water, my cellphone (even though it showed no signal) and some cash. That would be enough. I just hoped I would not have to stay too long, otherwise I would soon run out of food.

Speaking of which, I had not eaten this morning and my belly was starting to gurgle. I ate the energetic bar. Much better. I was now ready to leave. The only thing left to decide was my destination. The girl I had failed to save had talked about the roof. Maybe I could find allies there who could help me get out of here, or at least understand what happened. Or maybe I could just go straight to the exit, hoping I could get through by myself...
