Return to her 'parents'

"One is very amused by these treats." Cloud Retainer mused as she licked the popsicle. The adeptus had returned to her abode to indulge and explore her body. The slug's previous home in Dehya had been interesting. While it hadn't been the one control as Dehya was it's parent host, the slug still felt the world through Dehya's body. The desert climate where a portion of Sumeru's natives lived was incredibly hot, but Dehya had been well acclimate to it. The slugs had gotten use to the environment, hot, humid and with sand everywhere.

Now in its own new body, the body of the called Cloud Retainer, the slug was able to feel entirely new sensations. The most prominent was the cool air atop the mountain. Originally the only time they would feel such coldness was at night and it was often to a vary noticeable ****. The temperatures in Liyue were far more forgiving being more relaxing than hostile. The slug found this very enjoyable. So enjoyable in fact that it had gleefully disrobed its host upon arrival at her abode, leaving her in only her bodysuit.

The other amusing thing were these cold treats that 'Cloud Retainer' had found. They belonged to one of her disciples often used for said disciple's family but seeing as they were in such surplus the infected Adeptus decided to enjoy. It was sweet and cold, a unique sensation that the slug had once more never experienced in Dehya's body.

As Cloud Retainer or Xianyun as the human for was called roamed her new home, she began to contemplate her next move as she continued to lick her popsicle. She had slowly been gaining more and more memories of the Adeptus. She could imitate her personality perfectly. One could say one could also imitate her speech perfectly as well. However there were still many gaps that needed filling out. The Adeptus had lived a long life, over 2000 years maybe even more, being friends with the Geo Archon so many years ago. To learn the memories of such a long lived being in such a short time would be disastrous. They needed more time, less they be found out by the many, many, ancient friends and family of the Adeptus.

Wait a minute...family...that's it. Cloud Retainer smirked as an idea formed in her head. The lady quickly hurried to find some writing paper. It was time to take a trip. The Adeptus hadn't informed anyone of there plans to move Liyue Harbor, so no one was expecting anything of them. However if they decided to take a trip for themselves to go and explore and maybe get new ideas, no one should be suspicious if they decided to leave for a few days.

So Cloud Retainer wrote a letter and left it in her abode. She dressed herself once more and then left her abode, making sure the letter was easy to find. Once outside she concentrated on on of the more prominent of memories of her host, and soon it begun.

Her arms became wings, her skin was covered with feathers, her teeth replaced with a beak and her heels replaced with the feet of crane. Now in her illuminated beast form, the Adeptus took of into the sky, heading back to Sumeru. It was time to see Dehya and Kaveha and show them the host they had acquired.
