Arriving on Earth, Miranda quickly made her way to Alliance HQ. Before long, she stood before Admiral Hackett, ready to continue her mission.

"Lieutenant Lawson, it's good to see you." Hackett growled. "First off, I want to congratulate you on your work so far. We're right on Eclipse's tail."

"You didn't have to call me back to Earth just to say that, Admiral." Miranda states.

"You're right." Hackett says, after the most minute of pauses. He clearly isn't completely happy with what he has to say next.

"I recalled you to Earth because your past with Cerberus and romantic entanglement with Commander Shepard make you a risky choice to rescue him." Hackett begins. "Effective immediately, I've decided to make some changes to the operation."

"Such as?" Miranda asked, a hand on her hip. She didn't appreciate her loyalty being questioned. Or her rationale.
