"WHY THE FUCK NO?" You hear the very distinctive, angry Agis' voice yelling just as you were about to enter the Guild. It can never be easy, huh? ...You take a deep breath before pushing the door open. The first thing you can see is the blonde elf holding her little goblin business partner in the air by the neck of his jacket, shaking him and furiously screaming at his surprised face. "WHY DON'T YOU LISTEN TO ME AT LEAST ONCE IN YOUR LIFE, YOU LITTLE SHIT!?"

"...H-hey what is happening here?!" You quickly walk towards them, carefully placing a hand on Agis' shoulder. Still holding Abel up in the air, the elf turns her head to look at you with the same enraged expression that rapidly softens as she realizes it's you, her eyes widening and her lips pouting slightly.

"G-get me down, you crazy elf!" The scaredy goblin exclaims, trying to sound brave as he is easily lifted like a ragdoll.

You and the girl look at each other's eyes silently for a few seconds before Agis sighs and simply lets go of Abel. The goblin falls over his ass, but quickly bounces up on his feet and angrily yells at the top of his lungs. "What the fuck is wrong with you?! Y-you could have killed me!" The elf just looks down at him in silence with an annoyed frown and crossed arms.

"I'll ask again. What is happening here?!" You question, your hand still over Agis' shoulder to keep her from jumping at Abel.

"Well, remember your promotion to squire? Mr. Greenfuck down there doesn't think you are qualified for it. Seems like you aren't a big enough asshole to be part of this shitty Guild!" She throws daggers at him, strongly clenching her fists.

"Fuck you, Agis! I know who the real adventurers are, and your stupid boyfriend there isn't one of them! I run the things here, not you!"

"He is the future, you son of a bitch! The Guild is fucked. Fucked! We don't need any more of those idiots you like to hire, we need people like him!" She loudly exclaims, pointing her finger at you.

"Oooooh, the future? Alright. I have a job for him. Want to join us, future? Our guys spotted a wolf den on the deepest parts of the forest, on the eastern part. Go there and clear it up, great adventurer!" Abel says to you with a mocking voice tone and a devilish smirk.

"T-that's not a job for a squire! Abel, what the-"

"I'll do it." You simply say, looking down at the little goblin with a determined expression. You appear calm and decided on the exterior, but on the inside, you can't believe you just said that.

"You what?!" The elf surprisedly looks at you. "Theo, you...?"

"You have balls! It was nice to meet you, kiddo. Have fun! Hehehe." Abel teases, walking off as he heartily laughs... douchebag...

You look at him leave with a frown; Agis quickly stepping in front of your line of vision, a shocked look on her pretty face. "Theo? A-are you crazy?! A wolf den?"

You might be, but you think there is a chance, at least a small one, that you can make it. Those wolves are a threat to the entire town. Your dad... he... nobody should have to go through something like that. "Well, I... I have to test this awesome sword..." You fake a cool grin while patting the weapon on your hip, trying to lighten up the mood. She doesn't seem to find your joke funny, still looking up at you with a mortified expression. "...I'll be careful, I swear... I... I need to do this... I don't want what happened to my father to happen to anyone else..."

The elf's eyes start getting watery. "I... Theo... I'm sorry." She can only weakly mumble, sadly looking at your face for a whole minute before suspiring, slowly turning on her heels and dragging her feet towards the stairs at the end of the room, giving you a final gaze before starting to climb them towards her bedroom.

Well... you just did that... you should go home, it's pretty late... and Mathilda wanted to talk about something... greeeeat.
