Return home and figure out what to do

John immediately returned home and placed the flowers in the fridge.

"Okay. Step 1, refrigerate the flowers, done" he said to no one, "Step 2, find Courtney. Step 3, get the corsage on her. And then finally Step 4, she is mine!"

But then it dawned on him that he had no way of getting her to come over to put the damn thing on.

He walked to the living room to plot further. They should be alright there, he thought, it's not like anyone else is home...
