What else?
Return for the last girl
With a flick of your wrist you reappear below in the central room on the second floor. Next to you, Litessa thumps down hard on the floor. She tries to lift herself but her fresh scars burst to new pain and she can't lift herself. You kick her arms out from under her and she falls heavily to the floor again. Tears rush afresh to her eyes.
Kerritan lunges at you once more, and before she can reach you, you freeze her in her tracks and lash her with waves of pain, more than before. Marait merely watches you with angry eyes. She seems to have recovered a little from her morning's torments, but her eyes are haunted and she doesn't go to Litessa to help her. Ura sits in a chair, still damp, her eyes hooded but staring at you.
Finally impatient with the her recalcitrance, you point at Kerritan and she grins eagerly and strides toward you, pleased to finally have a shot at you. You step forward and grasp her by the throat, her own hands coming up to strike at you until you stop them with another gesture. Suddenly she gasps as you rake her with fiery pains from head to toe. You increase the intensity and tears form in her eyes. Breaths start to sob from her. Litessa is oblivious, but Marait, watching, tenses sympathetically, and Ura merely watches you with the same stone-cold gaze as ever. With a snap you are gone.
You take the two of you to another room of the tower. It is large, probably taking up the entire floor of the tower. It has open windows on the east side, but no light comes in through the darkened sky. Through the window is a dim view of the cliffs and mountains against the starlit sky. The room is strangely furnished, the stone floor sandy and dry, the walls flat slabs. Large rocks are strewn sparsely across the floor, some as tall as a man. With a gesture, you ignite the torches that sit in sconces on the walls and stones throughout the room. You release her throat and body and turn in a circle. "I built my tower here to enjoy the best aspects of all this land had to offer. You and your companions probably chose it for much the same reasons. A pity you couldn't truly enjoy the full effect without being able to teleport throughout it. We're on the third level; the fourth, naturally, is the water, the fifth forest, and the sixth earth. I thought you'd find this level the most... intense. You're a woman of the forests, dark, dangerous, and closed-in. Always something to put your back against, always something challenging to oppose. The open cliffs, the dry air, the openness... this room is especially frightening, is it not? But I apologize for my rudeness; I have only talked, never listening. You are Kerritan, yes?"
