Retreat

"Maybe it would be best if we bid a tactical retreat. You have spare guns right." She again narrowed her eyes. "Of course I do." "Well then we'll come on, let's get back to the city, get your guns, maybe call some of superheroes for back up and come back to kick Ferdinand's a**." She smiled. "Sounds like a plan. You got a way out of here." "Yeah, my car is this way. Bit of a hike though. Will you be okay without shoes." She nodded. "Lead the way Nova Girl."

Once we got to the car, I pulled my own cloths out and had Lady Deringer put them on. Thankfully we where roughly the same size. Once she was dressed, we got in the car and started driving make towards the city. It was an awkward silence at first but LD eventually broke it. "Why where you out there tonight?" "To catch a villian. Why else would I be out there?" "Yes but why? You could have been killed." "You're one to talk." "I've dealt with Ferdinad before. I'm also a world class marksman armed with hyper advanced revolvers. You're just an admitadly smart woman with no powers or skills to fight bad guys with. Why are you trying to be a superhero?"

Well.....I did have an answer for that. I wanted a superhero boyfriend and I needed to become a superheroine myself in order to get one. I couldn't tell her that though. She'd just think I was crazy. Maybe I should lie.
