As the group talked Scorchscale crawled out of his puddle and towards a line of trees, moving towards one of the secret tunnels he had dug out with the help of some friends to make it easier for him to move through the marshes back and forth. But then his left foot broke a branch, making a loud snap echo through the forest, and he froze up as the group's ranger stopped, having rolled a good roll for his Listen skill.
