He pulled a rope out of the traveling bag he carried and tied the woman’s hands together. Satisfied that she would not be able to run away easily, he decided to get some sleep. From how she looked upon their encounter, the orc knew he could get at least a little rest before having to deal with his new “guest.” He looked at the dying fire and made sure it would die out naturally before he closed his eyes.

When he opened them, Kolgrug noticed it was dawn. He had traveled enough in his life to tell from the trees when the sun was beginning to rise in a forest. He looked at the woman to see she was still where he left her the night before. The thought then occurred to him that she was very ill-equipped to being in the wild. Besides the knife she used, she had no tools to help her live if her trip was unexpectedly extended. ‘What was she doing out here?’ Kolgrug thought.

“Hmmm..”

Kolgrug was removed from his thinking as the human was finally waking up. ‘Well, it’s time to see where things go with her.’ He walked up to the human and greeted her in the basic language of the human kingdoms. He was not the most fluent in her language, but he thought he said “You are awake.”
