What happens next?
Responding to Plan B
"Hey, don't get snippy with me," said the man who called himself Peter Quill. "At least I did something."
"And now we're all going to get blown up as a result!" exclaimed Amy.
"Oh, no, we aren't," said the Doctor as he took out his sonic screwdriver and aimed it in the direction of the deadly Dalek.
"No point in using your puny tool against us," said the Dalek. "The plans of the Daleks cannot be countermanded."
"I'm not looking for a countermand, dear," said the Doctor. "I'm looking for -- Wait a minute! Perhaps I am looking for a countermand."
"Doctor!" exclaimed Amy.
"Oh, right!" cried the Doctor. "I'm actually looking for reverse."
"You can't put that thing in reverse," said Peter Quill. "You might injure some of my crew."
"Okay, then I'll put it in sideways," said the Doctor.
"I don't think that will be much of an improvement," said Peter Quill.
"Well, I have to put it somewhere," said the Doctor. "Oh, I know."
The Doctor pushed a particular button on his sonic screwdriver and then just like that, the Dalek flew up into the ceiling where it exploded.
Fortunately, no one was injured though both Amy and Peter silently glared at the Doctor.
"Oh, relax, you two," said the Doctor. "At least nobody was injured."
"That's what you think," said a familiar voice from the floor above. "Some idiot just killed a ton of Daleks up here."
"Er, isn't that what you would expect from the number one enemy of the Daleks?" asked Amy.
Then she recognized the voice. "Rory?" she asked. "Is that you?"
"Yes, it is," said Rory.
"How did you survive the explosion?" asked Amy.
"That's what I'm wondering," said Rory.
"Well, wait right there and I'll climb up to meet you," said Amy.
"Why don't I climb down there and meet you?" asked Rory.
"Are you kidding?" asked Amy. "Between my lack of clothing and the cold temperature, I need all the opportunities for exercise I can get."
