Request to Serve with Littlefinger

"Your majesty, I have been offered a position with Lord Petyr Baelish, here in King's Landing, which I wish to accept."

Margaery recoils upon hearing the name. "Well, John, I would council you against serving with Lord Petyr - I and many of the nobles of this realm do not trust him and for good reason."

"Why is that?" you ask, feigning concern.

"Well there is no proof - the man is much too clever for that - but many suspect he was responsible for the devestating wars that have torn apart Westeros in the recent past. I am also unsure of his reason for being present in King's Landing, seeing as he has left a regent in his stead at Midlor Point."

"Well, your majesty, be that as it may, I still wish to serve with him," you reply, determination evident in your voice.

"Well, if that truly is your wish, I cannot stop you. My only request is that if you hear or are told any information that may help the crown you will inform us."

"I will do that your majesty," you reply, though you have not actually decided whether you will or not.

"Good," Margery replies, a smile cutting across her face, "I give you leave to go then, and begin your service with Lord Baelish."

"Thank you," you reply, before leaving the room.

As the guard outside the solar escorts you out, you have already begun to dream of your new life.
