Renewing Acquaintances

“Hey have you seen this, Mel Mel?” Lexie asked showing her wife the strange site she came across. “It’s this naked dude from England doing some crazy shit at a bachelorette party !”

Mel was used to Lexie’s doom scrolls as she put down her book. Her mouth dropped open as she instantly recognized him. “Oh my gawd! That’s James!” Mel shrieked out as she stood up so quickly her tits shook up and down.

“James?” Lexie asked with some intrigue. “What’s his story? Naked Ambition victim?”

“N-no I don’t think so but we can ask Cassie since she would have had pretty extensive knowledge on men in the NA database,” she said getting her phone and immediately calling her number.

“Well hello, love,” Barbie said answering the phone. “You trying to steal my wife again?”

A slap as well as an Oww before Cassie started to speak could be heard. “I’m sorry Mel. I’m still getting her house broken. It’s been a while since we talked. How’s the next book coming along?”

“Oh you know severe writer’s block and a wife that I keep my hands off of seem to only make me realize writing a second book is more complicated that the first,” Mel said as she gave a kiss to Lexie, who was smiling from ear to ear.

“Yes our better halves indeed have a knack for being the best distractions,” Cassie said with a chuckle. “I don’t think you called me to just catch up. What’s on your mind?”

Mel cleared her throat and asked, “So I’m curious if you remember the database of men that were in Naked Ambition that had been stripped naked. I think a former coworker is still trapped in Naked Ambition.”

“Oh is that naked dude from JamesDoesAnything?” Barbie asked from the background. “That’s dude is hilarious!”

Mel could hear typing away as Cassie had stopped speaking. “So there were very few men and I wanted to double check that James was not in there. There are no records in the old file but we could call Chantelle and ask if she can ask talk to our favorite person.”

Mel grimaced and said, “Let’s not get that man involved if we don’t have to. I trust your thoroughness, Cassie. Why does he look like he is a part of Naked Ambition?”

Barbie chimed in again, “Mel why don’t you just pay for him to show up? And then you can ask him what the hell’s going on.”

“Pay? What is she talking about?” Mel asked Lexie.

“He basically is paid to do that dumb shit, babe. He even turned into animals which reminded me of your friend that became the gerbil,” Lexie said not wanting to remember the horror of Naked Forever.

“I still can’t believe she was actually a gerbil or that any of girls can turn into anything their client desires,” Mel said with a hint of disdain. “This sounds so similar how do we know that “He” isn’t involved?”

Cassie spoke this time, “It feels similar but also different. If it was naked ambition, your friend wouldn’t have his own site. I’m thinking it’s more of a rogue agent or someone wanting to do their own version of it. But to the point that they both made, I agree that you should summon him and ask him what he knows.”

Mel always trusted Cassie’s gut since she was the one that had saved her and Lucy from being converted to Naked Forever. “Alright I’ll give it a shot. Worst case scenario is I’m out 100 bucks. Talk to you later!” Mel hung up the phone as Lexie had it ready to go.

“Anything else I should know about James?” Lexie asked with a bit of curiosity.

“One thing he had invited me over to his place and he was completely naked. I was still engaged at the time and this was a few months before Naked Ambition. Truthfully, I thought he was some kind of freak so maybe he is or maybe it’s related to this weird thing,” Mel said with her arms out.

Lexie chuckled as she said, “Good I’ll kick his ass if he tries anything. I said he needs to be a gentleman and we paid for about 15 mins. He charges way too much money for me to justify paying for more.”

Mel smiled and said, “I won’t ask then. Let’s get this show on the road then and meet an old colleague.”
