Removing Hand

Gasping in fear Sister Anne quickly removes her hand from the statue while covering her mouth. In that instant she thought to herself "did that really happen? Surely this could not be real." But she could not figure out why it seemed so real to her when she ran her hand over that area but not anywhere else. Looking from one end of the corridor to the other she saw no other sisters. Because she now knew she was all alone thoughts started to run in her head. Thoughts to stay and touch it again or to leave the area to clear her head.
