"I am all tuckered out babe." Leah said with an exhausted tone. "Its been really hectic at work this week. You know how homecoming week is."

"Yeah I know." Jonathan said, disappointment in his tone. "Maybe later this week."

He forced a smile. She gave him a reassuring kiss but Leah could tell he was disappointed. Or was it suspicion? The two ended up with their regular nightly routine after supper. Leah was able to decompress, at least for a bit.
