You and Siora trade a serious look. Both of you know you will stay firm. Accepting being sold into slavery would simply be giving up. You nod to her, and she turns back to Tav with a furrowed brow.

"No. We will never be slaves! We aren't just some objects for you to make money off of." Though her voice sounds firm, the grip with which she's squeezing your hand betrays her insecurity.

"You's sure?" Tav turns to you and asks. You give a determined nod. You're not about to be sold to some fat noble's plaything, and if you are sold as a **** you will probably be separated from Siora. That is the last thing you'd want to happen. At least here the two of you will be together. "A'right, I gave you's a chance," he muses out loud as he turns around and opens the door to the rearmost wagon. "Git in, bitches," he orders as he waves you both inside.

The two of you take shaky steps up into the carriage, not sure what you should expect. First Siora steps inside, then you, then Tav steps in and shuts the door behind him. You huddle in the opposite corner with Siora as you both watch him pull a key from under his shirt and latch the door.

The room you've found yourself in is tiny, definitely only taking up a small part of this carriage. The room is entirely bare on the side you are huddled in, but there is a stack of cushions and blankets in the opposite corner. "Sit down," Tav barks at you. "We's gonna 'ead out now, an' it might be bumpy." The two of you slowly slink down into the corner. Though you aren't physically restrained, you doubt even the both of you could overwhelm him in a struggle. "A'ight, we's ready, time ta git goin'," he yells through the only window in this compartment, which conveniently gives the driver and his comrade a full view of you. The driver gives a shrill whistle in response, and you can hear all the other drivers respond in kind all the way up the caravan. A few seconds later, you can feel the carriage lurch as the horses begin moving again.
