Reed's always inventing one thing or the other. Sometimes its for the benefit of the team. Like a new vehicle. Other times, it's for him and his wife, like a new vibrator for when he's away. Other times... It's for money. His patents may make him a lot, but it also costs a lot to be a hero and run new tests and build new inventions.
