“Red nymphs”

Survival inside Tartarus is very harsh for every manomo, even the ones concected directly to nature. Without sunlight inside the cavernous depths to provide energy, many plant related manomo had to find ways to live on, even if it required to live on others.

Red nymphs are an example of that survival. They where once normal spirits of nature that once lived among the humans and manomo. But since the order also saw then as corrupted manomo, they were also banished to Tartarus with the rest of the monsters.

Without sunlight and the lackage of man to sustain themselfs, they also began to predate on other manomo to obtain more mana. They’re once cherish and friendly attitude was replaced by a devilish and greedy behaviour.

They form big crooked dark trees with red leafs and long spiked vines that extend to the ground. They also generate white flowers in certain seasons, but they do not help the nymph to reproduce. Instead, the flowers releases a sweet intoxicating smell that lures other manomo and humans closer to her.

Once her prey is close enough, they lash out their vines towards it’s victim, making the person to suffer as the torns began scratching their skin as the vines envelope their bodies.

After the prey is secured and contained, a red nymphs began to slowly squezze the blood out of the recent injuries imposed on the person and drink it. They continue this **** even when the prey dies and will only let go until the body runs out of blood.

When the corpse is totally dry, Red nymphs use of what’s left as fertilizer, letting the body to drop on the ground only for her roots to start dragging it into the soil.

Red nymphs can separate from their respective trees, assuming a more humanoid form, but they cannot go too far from them. They’re humanoid bodies is similar to young and athletic human females, but the structure is made of hard wood while they’re hair consists of long spiky vines, that can grow as well.

When a red nymph senses a man nearby, she will try to increase the amount of pollen produced by their flowers in other to atract them. When that doesn’t work, she will then separate herself from her tree and try to hunt the man down as far as she can. After the male is captured, the red nymph envelopes him with her vines exactly as her other victms, but this time, she will also suck the mana out of him via intercourse, trying her hardest to not kill him.

Whenevever she gets impregnated, Red nymphs will produce fruits, that she will forcefully feed to a captured manomo or trow to a small distance. The fruit itself has a oval shape and bloody color but it’s meat has a addicting flavour that makes the monster to want to eat more.

Unfortunately, inside the fruit’s meat, there are small seeds that, when consumed, will start growing inside the person’s body, draining them from their blood and mana, until a new Nymph emerges out of the deceased host's body and starts to grow another tree.

This kind of manomo were able to form small patchs of forests along abandoned roads and inside national parks, continuing to predate on other beings as the sun does not help them anymore.
