Recruiting Diana

Carrie decided to start this experiment at the top: Diana Fazio, the half Greek-half Italian 22-year old student president at the university. She had her mother's elegant Greek features, coupled with the bust and butt that the Italians were known for. Carrie bought her a drink, then three, then four.

Diana was in a relationship with Mark, a handsome, dark-haired male who was the captain of the golf team. It was outwardly a perfect match. But inwardly, there were tension points.

"So I haven't seen you around much, what have you been up to?" Diana asked.

"I'm seeing this great guy in Texas. Head of the banking operations. Former NFL athlete. Hung as fuck." She saw Diana's eyes light up, but only for a moment.

"Former? How old is this guy?"

"Fifty-one." Diana gagged.

"Jesus, Carrie, that is ... fucking old."

"And how's Mark? You and him still tight?"

"Oh, it's great," Diana said darkly. She finished the drink. "Well, for him. He's just ... it's like a Ken doll. Looks great, hits all the check boxes, but you get the boxers off ..."

"And there is nothing there?" Carrie said, mischief playing at the corners of her mouth.

"Practically. He's a great guy but ..." Carrie reached out to take Diana's hand.

"We've all been there, Diana. What if there is a world where you can have Mark on your arm. Where you can take the lead with him. Where there is a man you can see on the side that satisfies you. That makes you feel like a woman. What if there is a way to have both?" Diana paused for a long moment. She had a fifth drink, a sixth, and a seventh in rapid succession, then finally looked at Carrie again, as if for the first time.

"How?" Carrie smiled. Bingo.
