Recovering

You and Olivia spend the next few days together in the mansion, ignoring the outside world and just hanging out. The two of you are still trying to process Caroline's **** and you're worried about Olivia though she doesn't leave your side. She spends every night in your bed to cuddle with you, but you haven't had sex since that fateful night.

The newspaper calls on Monday when you don't show up for work and you let it go to voicemail. Later that day, Amanda comes by the mansion and you send her away too. She tries to press you for answers, but you just shut the door in her face.

Two weeks quickly pass and while it's slow and incremental, Olivia is getting back to her old jovial self. You kind of like it, getting to know Olivia anew, and you've grown to really like her. You're also impressed with yourself for going so long without sex or masturbating, though you were tempted many times.

One morning, you walk into the den and Olivia is staring at a letter in her hand.

"What's that?" you ask.

"It's from the college. They say I've missed too many classes and I need to go back to school or I'll be expelled."

"Do you want to?"

She looks at you thoughtfully. "Well. I don't need the money. Or the degree."

"Or to meet men," you remark with a smirk.

She smiles back at you. "Or that. But what will I do? I don't know. Do you want to go on a trip? It would be nice to get away. I know I've been withdrawn since Caroline's ****, but I really appreciate you being here for me."

"That sounds awesome. Where do you want to go? We can be there in 2 minutes."
