Reconfigurator-anator Ray Gun - Gadget Hackwrench

The Reconfigurator-anator Ray Gun(TM) was first seen on the Mya/Gadget Route but can be used in other paths as a gift or unlock/bought.

The standard issue version of the gun is about the size of a old toy gun/hair dryer. It comes in a number of colors, but they all have a white bulb at the end where the barrel would be, with rings of metal jutting out of the barrel down the length of it. This gives the device a very classic if outdated look of a cartoon ray gun. There's a dial on one side of the device, and a small touch screen on the other side of it.

This device is designed to change the properties of one object, the the properties of another object. Usually this is for Size, color, material, race, or other factors, as the device was not intended for use against Super Powered or Magical Beings/Objects. General properties like muscle mass can be copied but users are warned against trying to use this to change the properties of someone with say, Laser Eyes or Fire Breath.

To use, the device must be primed, fired, stored, and fired again.

Priming; The device is tuned to the desired property, using the touch pad and dial to factor in just what is being targeted.

Fire - Storing; The device is fired at the Base Target, copying the property and storing it inside the device. Objects are not harmed in this way nor do they lose the property but beings that can feel report a sense of nausea/weakness/tingly sensation at times.

Fire - Changing; The device is fired a second time at the Applied Target. The target rapidly changes at the microscopic level to reconfigure to the desired property. Items become bigger or smaller, taking up more mass as needed, or shift from one material to another. This process is quite fast and the resulting change nullifies pain or damage caused by such a change(At least to the main subject). This however does not halt or stop processes already underway, e. g. Copying "Dead" from a corpse will not cause the Applied Target to die Nor will turning someone into a Statue work. Likewise, copying "Cold" and applying it to Fire will do little as Fire is in a consistent state of Flux.

With a Standard Version, a subject can have one Configuration at a time, and the device can withstand Storing three at once. The change can last a few days before it shifts back to it's proper state.

Various upgrades and alterations can be picked up such as more in-depth changes, longer time, and more configurations stored and used; and the device is quite modifiable for those with a grasp of tech. Some users have reportedly changed the device into personalized Watches, belts, or some cases say a melee weapon.
