Rebecca Gives Luffy a Gift

As Rebecca and Luffy broke their hugs, they had such big smiles on their faces.

"You did it, Rebeeca! You ate the Mera Mera no Mi. You're amazing."

"Thank you, Lucy. But don't sell yourself short. I couldn't have won without your help."

"No way. You beat me earlier, remember? Even if we were enemies in the finals, you would've defeated me. I just know it. You're strong," said Luffy with such respect in his voice that it moved Rebecca.

'Tahnk you, Lucy. It makes me really happy to hear that. To commemmorate my eating the Mera Mera no Mi and to reward you for your help, I'd like tto give you something."

Rebecca then took off her pearl necklace and took off 2 of the pearls before reconnecting the pearl necklace and putting it back on her neck. She placed the 2 pilled off pearls in one of her hands.

"This may hurt a moment Lucy, but it'll be over soon."

Before Luffy could question Rebecca, she heated her index finger on her free hand just a biyt thanks to her new DF. She got up close to Luffy and placed them against both of his ears, piercing them. Luffy screamed in pain for a moment, but then Rebecca placed the pearls in each of his ears as earrings.

"I hope you like your new earrings, Lucy."

After the pain ended and Luffy realized what Rebecca had done, he rubbed his ears and felt the pearls in them. Hr dmiled at Rebecca and replied, "I do like them, Rebecca. You hurt my ears a bit with what you did, but thanks."
