Reassure her

You smile at her : "I'm also not the best in crowds, especially in this context" You say as you look over the assembly, blushing at the sights of various couples, and sometimes more than two, seducing each other. You think you even spot a man crawling under the table of his date!

From the corner of your eye, you see her take another sip of her drink while checking you out again.

"But it's ok, we can both be wallflowers together." You say to her, smiling a bit as you spot her cheeks slightly flushing. The grateful smile she sends you back bringing colour to your cheeks as well.

After that, conversations begins, a bit haltingly as you get to know each other. From where you're from to how you found yourselves on this boat, your drinks and the warmth of the evening helping to make you both more relaxed.
